Been wanting to visit here for years and I have say it didn't disappoint. It's a world-class museum in a redeveloped factory complex. The old factory halls are the perfect venue for so many of these works. And they configured other more intmate spaces for shows that require it. A good investment of private and public money. Oh, and give yourself a day here if you can. So much to see.
1. If you have a library card you can go there for free.n2. There is room on the down floor which needs appointments and it's sooo cool can't explain more about it because you've got to see it yourself and also no taking photos is not allowed theren3. Set aside a whole day for it because it's so huge and it doesn't seem so from outside.n4. It used to be an old factory and the exhibit is there and the building itself is so cool.n5. Be prepared for long walks.n6. I haven't uploaded many of the photos see it yourself.
This is a converted factory near the downtown area. There are many exhibits, some exploring newer mediums of contemporary art. Parking was good, and there's a place to eat also. This art may not be for everyone, but give it a chance if undecided.
Such a cool space for contemporary art! Make sure you do your research before visiting so that you know what is open on campus although staff are happy to help you with that.nAlso, strong recommendation to stop by the Laurie Anderson and James Turrell spaces to sign up for timeslots to do VR and participatory limited admission exhibits!
The exhibit features contemporary art, so I'm not sure if it's good or bad. However, just seeing the inside of the old brick mill is enjoyable. There are cafes and restaurants on the premises, and ample parking space is available.
