This joint provides real good Sri Lankan food. The taste is good. The chef opens the kitcken around 6PM so don't be deceived anout the times in google. Overall food meets expectations and the portion sizes are reasonable for the price. This place is not the cheapest Sri Lankan food place in toronto. Kottu: this gives authentic Sri Lankan kottu vibes making most of the other joints around toronto sub par. They have chicken, mutton, and other options as well. 5 stars String hopper kottu: ordinary and nothing special about them. 3 stars Fried rice: One of the best Sri Lankan fried rice in Toronto. The chicken and eggs are generously added. This gets 5 stars. Short eats: Samosa and rolls are ok but I have had better in Toronto so not really good. 2 stars. The overall 3 stars are due to waiting time. Your order will take minimum an hour feom the time you pay. You can order in advance but the phone is not always answered. I believe this is due to the fact that it is a single person run shop. He does everything. Cleanliness is not so good but not bad either.

Best food in Canada! Brought me tears cus i finally had a taste of a srilankan koththu and fried rice after months and months . Starting from the chicken fried rice it was a huge portion with lots of chicken and a yummy chillie paste in it. The rice wasnt oily and soo good. And the mutton koththu, the part that made me cry when i had my first bite. Love this place

If you want to dine in or take-out better you call and let him know because Waiting Time is So long he’s only one guy working cook and server and cashier. UNBEARABLE DELAY IN FOOD PREPARATION! Woul Have Cancelled If Not Paid While Ordering. Good Srilankan food at reasonable prices! Not the cleanest place atleast the washrooms. Got a sports pub vibe to it, not entirely a family space. The time took to prepare the food was really not worth, absolutely no care about people’s time and I was dining in. + Cheap costs + Tasty South Indian dishes + Good Service - Smiling - Cleanliness of the washroom - Heater not effective - Takes time for preparation- so much TIME

I ordered delivery of chicken biryani, mutton biryani, chicken kotha, mutton kotha. They made them all spicy for me : I highly recommend getting them spicy if you enjoy heat!! Massive portion sizes, amazingly tasty food, awesome prices! Excellent service as well! My new favourite local restaurant! Thanks!
