Walked in the store expecting to book a bike for repairs. A young gentleman eating a sandwich behind the counter couldn't even remotely be bothered to even ask if I needed anything. I guess he just fixes stuff? I mean, a simple "please talk to the lady over there if you need help" would have been sufficient. Silly me for assuming someone behind a counter at a store was there to help you with anything. He just sat there typing on his phone while sloping away at his sub as I stood there uncomfortably wondering who the heck to speak with. It wouldn't have mattered. The lady I was supposed to have talked with chatted at the counter with a friend of hers for at least 20 minutes in between chit chatting on the phone. nothing business related I mean, I wasn't expecting her to call the Renfrew Mercury because I wanted to fix my bike. A simple "I'll be with you in a few minutes" would have been once again, sufficient. I just got hungry and walked away to grab a slice from Don's Pizzeria. Renfrew Ontario man. It's something else.

She did it again! I needed a new starter for my John Deer riding mower. She had it in stock in Renfrew! Plus she had new blades, oil filter, air filters and gas line filters. Ruth is the best! Thanks! Ruth had the magic hard to find anywhere chain lube I needed at a great price. I bought 2 bottles. I recommend her shop for bikes, parts and repairs.

The woman i dealt with was extremely lovely, my bike was ready in a timely manner and the parts and labor were very affordable. Highly recommend!

It was my second visit and nothing has changed. Same excellent customer service. Ruth and bike repair technician very professional, friendly and highly knowledgeable in their area of business! Two thumbs up and would highly recommend this place to everyone one!

This is definitely not your typical bike shop you'd see in a bigger city. In addition to selling Norco bikes, Martin Cycle also sells lawn mower parts and other seemingly unrelated merchandise. However, if you need bike parts or are looking for a lower priced bike less than $800 this place is a good alternative. I would recommend this shop for tires, tubes, handlebar grips, chains, etc. over big box stores. Don't expect to find any high end bikes here but that's not the customer base they're after.

An honest business. They'll let you know if a bike isn't worth fìxing and give you a fair price when it is. They are our go to shop to have my kids hand me downs brought back into working order.
