Marquette Park is a landscaped park located on Mackinac Island in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is part of Mackinac Island State Park and stands on the edge of Mackinac Island's harbor on the Round Island Channel and just east of downtown Mackinac Island. Neath maintained beautiful place, great place for picnics in a good sunny day…
This is a very expansive, grassy area in front of the forty. You can read some historical information here. There are picnic tables. There is a nice little playground for children. There is also a geocache hidden near the playground. It would be a good spot for a picnic lunch.
Great place to relax, enjoy a snack, or let the kids run around. You can drink alcohol until 10pm. Grab a snack and a beer from Douds Market next door. Restrooms across the street. Great view of the fort and marina.
Really love this park. Overlooking Lake Huron and the fort it has great views from all around! Very spacious green space. Love the playground on the far side of the park towards the Crow's Nest Trail! Great place to stop and relax while enjoying your visit to Mackinac Island!

Saw Shakespeare in the park this evening! Starling Shakespeare Company every evening in August!
Nice little park with great views. The only thing keeping it from being the perfect place to relax is that they occasionally fire off the cannon at the fort on top of the hill.
Perfect spot for a picnic overlooking the water. We grabbed food from Doud’s and set up in the park. You can watch the ferries come and go.
Great community gathering spot in the village where you can rest from biking or walking. Also serves as a good central meeting place if you're travelling with others. The park is on a slope at the base of the bluff, so you get a view of the harbor. You also get great view of the walls of the fort on the top of the bluff above the park. A "secret" stairway on the edge of the park takes you up to Huron St. The park is filled with lilac bushes, but not very many trees, so it's not the best for a finding a shady spot. The small bits of shade were already taken when we got there. Still, it's a good escape from the crowded main street.
It’s a beautiful place surrounded by pure water and luckily no cell phone Network.
