What a great adventure. Simply bring your own skates or rent them out in Trail sports shop. An absolute fun, family, couples, friends, solo, beginet or a pro. Ice takes it all.
This lovely market Square has a beautiful overlook of the City Hall and surrounding environment. If you were new to Kingston, or exploring the region, you should make spring or market square a starting point to visit the city. Around the Square is a bevvy of delicious restaurants and entertainment optionsVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Great skating with a beautiful view. Not too busy in the morning, but gets busier as the day goes on. Zamboni comes out every hour or two.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
During the summer they have a farmers market or antique dealers on certain days selling their wares. Other days they put out nice tables with umbrellas for anyone to take in the history. A friend & I tried it out this summer & what a great 20 minutes it was. The gorgeous old buildings and the hustle and bustle of the city was quite mesmerizing.
when I'm In kingston, I love skating here. rink is very well maintained. I wish the washrooms were open late, too.
It's a really beautiful, multicultural space. Settled behind city hall, its surrounded by great little shops and restaurants. I dont go often, as I am in the west end, but I did go for the festival of lights in December and it was quite stunning lit up at night. The rink was beautiful, and it felt very safe. I always enjoy heading to the square, as it has a rich history and welcoming environment no matter the season.
Public square in behind the City Hall building. A wide variety of events are held during the year, including farmers markets. During the winter, an outdoor skating rink us set up. Food stands, featuring local restaurants, can be found year round as well.
Good public rink. Very crowded on weekends, but I really recommend it if you want to go on weekdays.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Great tourism set up. Plenty of parking. Food and fun! Was extra memorable due to the Tragically Hip memorial!
We lucked in to a great weekend in Kingston. Class act by the tourism team for drawing such great crowds and making this a great visit to your fine city.
