Lots of history to see and hear. Our tour guide was very informative but she was way to loud and way way to fast, we where only 6 people. The place is well keep with lots to see. The extra talks that where given where very well done. The view from the Fort are amazing. Would visit again. Would of like to see more places near parking lot to have a picnic and some trees for shade.
Great little store and bakery but visit on the way out. Very informative. If sunny wear a hat. It was very hot Lots of info on the building of the fort and reasons behind it. We made the mistake of not joining a tour and missed some of the information
A great Historical Site with a unique story as part of Canadian history. In very good condition and kept well maintained. Great informative shows and reinactments, and very helpful Staff. It is definitely worth a visit and if you find it appeals to you, I guarantee you will visit again, multiple times.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
We had a good time our tour guide was very good and informed, by the way we did the ghost tour but not really ghost hunting as people were talking though out the tour, after the guide stopped talking that is. It was cool being in the fort at night and it was only $24 a ticket and was about 75 minutes long.
Great place to go and learn about the British military in Canada. Lots of on site demonstrations, and the guided tour was great. Our guide was able to answer a ton of questions, and really made the super hot July day great for my niece and nephews.
Thank you Fort Henry staff for making our visit to the past come alive. Their period costumes and role playing engrossed the whole family, especially during the 3pm demonstration. A canon firing 10 feet away will do that. The tunnels were a cool escape from the heat. Expect lots of walking: the fort is bigger than you would think. We were also surprised to see all the historically furnished rooms on display, and educational rooms about other history associated with the fort
We went on the haunted walk through the fort and it was a great time. Our tour guide was very helpful with my service dog and accessibility. I recommend the tour. We might have caught a spirit in a pictureVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
The sunset ceremony is a must. People travel from all over the world to see the Fort. Interesting architecture, actors who play the part and such a cool story of how the Fort came to be. Walking through where people lived and worked is amazing.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Great time! The staff are dressed up and teach you all about the place while keeping people entertained and happy. Live riffles and cannon demonstrated which was so cool! Good for any age! They have everything from artifacts to bread made right there in the fort! I got some pictures from on the roof and even though it was raining when I went it was still something I'll never forget! A great experience!
One of the best forts in Canada to see, right up there with Louisbourg on Cape Breton. Also perhaps the best water view restaurant in Kingston so plan on having a meal.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
