Great attractions for kids. They loved to see small an big trains. The place is nicely maintained and not very busy. Kids can take pics. There is small train model in the front side and kids can stand inside. The other one in the back is huge. Don't forgot to take photo from the front side.
Engine 1095 is the “Spirit of Sir John A.”, named after the first PM of Canada. Both the train engine and Sir John A. Macdonald originally hailed from Kingston. Built in 1913, this train engine was returned to Kingston after service in 1966 and recently restored in 2013. It is an impressive photo-op spot, just don’t stand onto the train! We saw many new students celebrating their Queens University graduation by this spot. There is also a smaller replica for kids to play in front of the Kingston sign nearby.
It's a beautiful spot for a sunny weekend. 2 hours drive from Toronto you can take transit as well. Check out for any events it's a bonus. If you drive there is a fort to visit don't miss it.Wait timeNo wait
Engine 1095 is a very cool looking and large train engine in front of City Hall by the waterfront. I'm not sure why this landmark shouldn't get a 5 star rating. This is a great site for young children; My daughter enjoyed it very much.
Earlier built by locomotive factory situated at Kingston waterfront, reminiscent of its glorious period. In such a spic and span state attracts each one from an distance. Capture your memories here and move on to a lot more interesting places at Kingston.

The Engine 1095 monument gives visitors a glimpse into the past when train travel and freight was the main artery of transportation. Masterfully restored to original state.
Kingston's waterfront is so beautiful in the summer. This engine is so well maintained and you can tell they really take pride in its historical significance. I grew up in Kingston but moved to Toronto and I never get tired of visiting.
It is absolutely amazing, nice trail to walk around. The engine has been maintained up to the mark. Amazing sight, loved it
