Marks as a corporate store brand is great. This one is a franchise refuses dogs contrary to the online corporate policy. The owner of this store I’m told refuses to simply post any signage, leaving it up to the employees to enforce after the fact. Loudly and rudely calling customers out from behind the counter in front of other customers is hardly appropriate. That was an unpleasant experience. I’ll be taking my Marks shopping elsewhere from now on.
Discriminate against large dogs. If you choose to have a no dog policy- then it’s for all dogs. They told me small dogs only are allowed The only Marks in Mainland that is not dog friendly. In a small adventurous community where there is so many people who have furry friends this choice is confusing and inappropriate.
Love this store! The staff is super cool and the selection of items is top notch. I buy all my safety clothing, work wear, and boots here. The fellow at the desk went above and beyond in helping to order some items for me. Good job Will! :

It's a tragedy that the Mark's in town is a franchise rather than a corporate. Not only is selection limited, some of the staff leave a lot to be desired. I've never experienced rudeness and attitude like the senior staff deliver. Only the merchandiser is friendly and helpful. Don't bother asking them to check another store for an item... as a privately owned location they will do nothing to help a customer if it means the sale goes elsewhere. For a truly great experience I now use the Mark's in North Vancouver. Good service, good prices and reasonable policies are worth the drive. Do yourself a favour, unless you desperately need something, avoid this store.
Never ever have 32x32 no socks lacking invintory overall go to the city i would suggest.

I found some boots on sale on their website but when I went in to buy them I was told they weren't on sale. I showed the cashier the price on their website and she started getting agitated. She said their boots weren't actually bought through Mark's but instead some guy named Wade or Wayne buys them off another supplier so they weren't on sale and never will be. She told me I could buy them on marks.com for the advertised price, but that I would have to wait for them to come in. After the cold snap. Even though I was holding them in my hands in the store trying to buy them. This weekend with cold feet I vowed to never buy anything from this location again. I've had nothing but bad experiences here over the years whereas the other marks stores generally stand behind their products and prices.
