All signs in the Lindsay Ontario store extremely deceiving. 60% off signs on a rack. Then you go to purchase the item and it’s not the items on the rack that are actually 60%off. Brought to manager’s attention and they basically told me too bad. It’s tricking people into purchasing things full price.
Poor customer service. Husband trying to buy boots that he thought was on sale and they weren't friendly and were abrupt about boots not being on sale. Will never go there again. He bought the boots anyways as he needed them. We'll go elsewhere from now on. Selection is terrible also.
Very bad customer service from the staff name “Kylen”. Seems she doesn’t know anything about the customer service, neither have any product knowledge nor have any interest in her job. I wanted to order an item from Online that they didn’t have at the store, she said online order is not possible. I used to works at Lindsay Mark’s and know very well that they can order from Online if something is not available at the store. When I told her that she reluctantly went and asked someone else who showed her how to order online. Also, she forgot to remove the security tag from the item that I bought, had to drive back to the store again to remove the security tag. Overall her attitude was very rude, and I didn’t feel welcome at all.
Poped in to get new hikers and work boots. Absolutely garbage selection, sizes and zero customer service. Went to the till and the cashier asked if I found what I was looking for. I replied no, and she laughed. So yeah. I guess even the employees know it's a joke. Won't be back there.
Most of the staff were wonderful. The person whom I believe may have been the manager really needs to work on their people skills. Not friendly, nor welcoming
I always have a good experience when I come into this store. This is one of the smaller Mark's, so sometimes they might not have a size or certain item, but the employees are very friendly and always help me out and offer ways to try and get the items I want in. Mark's a great place to get workwear as well as just day to day wear, and they often have sales going on. It's a great little store in Lindsay with a great community of people.

Awfull experience anytime I've been in this store. Employees always too busy talking to eachother to help customers. I tried to return a defective pair of work shoes after 3 weeks and the manager kept telling it wasn't her fault there's no warranty on the boots. Fought with her for a while ended up going to another marks store and no questions asked got my.money back to buy another pair. Staff at this store are very very rude. I don't go here unless I know they have what I need.
I bought a pair of Dunlop’s work boots from mark because I am a driller and I work outside all day throughout Monday to friend. When I first purchased the boots I though they they fit will. Everyone in the store was hopefully for me to find what I need. After the first day I wore them, my feet were really hurting and I realize I needed a size up and they would have been perfect. When I went to go return the boots and get a size up, a guy manger at the Lindsay location look at them and said since I wore them outside once I couldn’t return them. There wasn’t any dirt or mud on the boots. I think this is ridiculous. I payed $373 dollars for the boots and now since I am not able to return these boot, I just wasted all of that money. I just want to get in contact with someone you can help me out. I believe that this is not fair to me and I can’t get help to return there boots I will no longer shop there. It’s not fair for me or anything other customers this has happen to. Also the manger of the store seem very rude and didn’t care about my problem and seem like he didn’t want to ever try to help me out.
Not happy with this Marks. The cashier and manager were rude. Not helpful at all. Treated me like I wasnt there. Although I spent $500 for new cloths and boots. It didn't matter. Found I didn't like the boots so I took them back for a exchange. Wow what an inconvenience for them. Long story short. Just go to a different Marks. Worth the drive to not deal with these ppl. However on a good note. The lady that did help me was wonderful. To bad she wasn't the cashier or even manager.
