Serving discerning diners in the Sidney area since 1995, Maria’s Souvlaki Greek Restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. We offer carryout service for our entire menu, as well as a comfortable and relaxing dining area and an outdoor patio area for those who prefer to dine alfresco.

Reviews

The atmosphere is casual and the food is great. The chef really takes the time to make sure your order is well prepared. The prices are reasonable and the food is authentic. There are neat offerings like waffle fries. The tables and chairs feel a bit cheap but that's honestly ok and to be expected for a place like this. It's a perfect spot to bring kids or grab a quick meal. I'd eat there all the time if I lived nearer.

A great place to eat, especially for a quick bite.  This is a family run restaurant with a lot of local support.  The food is delicious but I found it a bit pricey, especially since it's counter service and cafeteria style seating.  My favourite dish is the dolmades with the lemon dill sauce- although the dill sauce often seems on the verge of being served cold.  The staff are friendly but not entirely welcoming sometimes.  I have found their service to be efficient and the food to be tasty.  I keep coming back, when I am in Sydney looking for food, I know I can count on Maria's.

Locally owned, beautifully decorated, lovely atmosphere! Prices are well made as you definitely get what you pay for! Delicious! I loved going here as a kid and now I love going here as an adult!

We won a gift certificate & finally stopped by. Falafel souvlaki was perfect and my husband's onion rings were thin and crispy. The portions were super generous and it was a pleasant environment too. Everyone was polite :) PS The bathrooms were clean and set up okay for handwashing

Very expensive!! Was charged 20$ for something that would cost me 12$ at opa with better options. Gyro was tasty but cold, fries were soggy - greek salad as a side salad was chincy small. Food was very fast though, wont return.
