We came to the area to visit family and we decided to come here for lunch since they had told us this place was good. It did not disappoint! The restaurant was very clean and vibrant, and it felt like a place you could just hang out. Having several different "environments" tables and booths, the elegant bar, outdoor patio, the bar counter by the pizza oven, the reservable room made it so Margie's could really fit any occasion. The meals were well priced considering the freshness and locality of many of the ingredients, and of course it was all very tasty. I would have never thought to have a pizza with salmon or capers on it, but I was so intrigued I had to try it. I would definitely order that pizza again. One of the other unique things I liked was having a selection of house made dipping sauces available for fries and other things. I will definitely come here again when I come back to the area again!
Really very impressed with Margie's and happy our schedule finally lined up with their hours. Drinks were on point, service was phenomenal, and sitting at the pizza bar so we could watch the kitchen operate was so cool, a well oiled machine. We shared a pizza as a starter, perfectly cooked, chewy crust, yum! My husband got the steak sandwich and I got a burger, both were good, my husband said the pieces of steak were a bit hard to bite with his teeth, so he cut them a bit smaller, but could be an issue for others. Overall, we'll be back!
Margie’s is our go to dinner spot! The food is always delicious. We sit at the bar frequently, bartender Eric is always friendly and has great recommendations. Menu has changed recently, we loved the jalapeño jam pizza, the new elote pizza is dank though! We are obsessed with every sauce on the menu, definitely recommend ordering a sauce flight. The thai peanut sauce is the best we’ve had anywhere. Complimentary cookies after every meal too. Aesthetics: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Would we come back? Weekly
Beyond IMPRESSED!! My family and I went there to celebrate my mom's birthday. Casey was our server and she was exceptional! We all ordered different specialty drinks that were so good and wow, just WOW, the food was outstanding! I couldn't believe it. I tried everyone's dish and everything was amazing. Lastly, I felt like I wasn't in Andover or in any of the surrounding cities like Ramsey or Anoka. The atmosphere was so great and the layout of the restaurant is so neat. It felt like I was out of town. I know that may sound weird but it was a great feeling. Thank you Margie's for an excellent experience. I will definitely be back!
We had reservations at 8:15 pm on a Saturday night and was still pretty crowded when we arrived. Waited about three minutes at the check in desk due to the hostess doing double duty but once we arrived at our table had a good first experience. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Started off with J's Old Fashioned which was very nicely done. In addition had a cup of their wild rice chicken soup that came in handy on a cold night. Big chunks of chicken in a tasty cream broth to get my meal off to a good start. Followed that up with their Sirloin steak, mashed potatoes and green bean special. First the steak was done to perfection. However, the mashed potatoes had lumps in them which I didn't like. My guest had Auntie B's Bowl which she said was good but did say it had too many onions and only one piece of broccolini. In addition she wanted to order cognac from the bar and they didn't have any. Hennessy fans please take note. Easy off street parking and handicap access.
The food is a hit and miss..some items very tasty and delicious, others were disapponting. Fish dinner was prepared well and not greasy. Homemade tarter sauce was perfect to go with it. Rhubard and strawberry crisp, soupy and it was like they dumped a scoop of dry oatmeal out of box on top and ice cream and served. Dish was warmer than the dessert. They do make their own sauces which everyone I tasted. I liked their version. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is on the pricer end. So I will probably not go back for a dinner not knowing for sure if I would get a great choice to eat. I have heard their breakfast is something to try. I might give another try for that and see how they fair for breakfast.
Creme brulee French toast was to die for with mouth watering caramel pecans and the creme brulee to top for the saucy syrup. As an appetizer we tried the chimi cheese fries which with the aioli sauce and combination of the toppings made the fries insanely delicious and easy to eat! Can't wait to try more of their items! Open kitchen area allows you to see food being made or pizzas being finished, such a fun thing to see when eating or chatting. Great job Margie's!
The best food, drinks, service, and atmosphere for any place we’ve been in the Twin Cities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for downtown eats and atmosphere, but close to home. Our service staff was beyond excellent, best customer service we’ve ever had from a restaurant. The menu is full of elevated dishes, and the burrata crostini was to die for. We will be telling everyone we know about this place, I simply cannot say enough. Top shelf cocktails too!
We were very satisfied with the food and the service. They had an acoustic group there,,, junkfm! The customers were loving it. It was a hoot! Superb service and accommodations. Call ahead, make a reservation! I'll be going back!!!

They have so much to offer! Love this place! They have an AMAZING POT ROAST that you do not want miss! Served Wednesdays for limited time.
