Everything was fine until a grown 30 year old man started pushing my friend. I tried to defend her but he started pushing me so I got security to help and they told US to move away from him and he got drinks and hugs from the bartender. Extremely shocked that behaviour is permitted. Like COME on guys not cool at all.

I recently had a work lunch at the restaurant that operates during the day at this club. Maybe we should have known that a club venue wouldn't be a great place for food but it was awful all the same. The chicken that they serve on the Voodoo poutine is clearly microwaved as it was not heated all the way through and was cold and wet in the middle and frankly didn't even look like chicken. Someone at the table asked for the Cajun fries with their meal and when it came with the regular ones it took them forever to replace them. So long that we were leaving by the time they came. In a party of 10+ people only 2 actually enjoyed their food. The service was average but I don't understand how a restaurant can operate with such low standards for the food they serve.

Bad atmosphere, bad music, bunch of guys trying to literally get us to get in their cars (they said they were cabs..). Not alot of drink choices and it had a bunch of clearly ubderage kids wasted. I didn't enjoy my time and left after about an hour or two.

Compared to other clubs I have been to, I found Mardi Gras to be very disappointing. The music was rubbish and there were a few older men who looked out of place (I was deranged to see one staring at the breasts of young women). The $5 cover fee was not worth it, although I must admit the decoration inside (the giant masks) was pretty cool, hence why I didn't rate this place one star.

Bartenders will ask for a tip before even serving you a drink, the drinks aren't even good enough to warrant paying the full price for, the music will leave your ears ringing for hours afterwards and the club is crowded as all hell. They let in so many people that you will be pushed around for hours because there is no space for people to get by you, and no space to dance so you and especially your ass will be hit by other people's hands, arms and asses. If you like feeling ripped off and claustrophobic then this is the place for you
