Despite the fact that Canada is the United States' single largest business partner (yes...NAFTA is a good thing for both countries), the work permitting process can be a quite frustrating and disheartening process, due in part to broad discretion and lack of clearly defined rules. This is compounded when you combine this opaque process with the complicated nature of corporate affairs, such as mergers and acquisitions and public financing. Fortunately, Zaynah Marani and her team were consistently there to not only guide our company through the process, but also to help with the emotional anxiety that goes along with immigration and government relations. The path to building a successful company is often a maze of turns and Marani Law helped us communicate this complexity in the easiest way possible in order to bring talent from the US and grow our business. We are very pleased to have them as our counsel on all immigration matters now and in the future.

Zaynah and her whole team at Marani Law are simply amazing! I just purchased my first home with their assistance. Everyone at Marani law was professional, detail orientated, patient, and so very helpful. It was an absolute pleasure working with the team at Marani Law and I would highly recommend Marani Law to everyone!

I would highly recommend Marani Law to friends and family. I trust them to provide the same service level as they provided to us. 
From the start of the condo purchase to the closing, they were attentive and professional. We felt taken care of and our interest put first. Zahra and team were diligent and truly cared.

Zaynah and Haya looked after my immigration needs, firstly for entering Canada on a working visa to then helping me through the permanent residency process. Everything was handled in a professional manner and I have now gained permanent residency status. I would recommend their services in the future.

This is my second review as I have made a couple corrections, but I still stand by my opinion.  I would never use her again. 
Extremely unhappy with Zaynah's services.  Hands-down the worst real estate experience we've had. We have done more than 7 transactions and this was the worst. I'm also a licensed realtor and I have never seen a deal go so badly.  9 months into our new condo, we found out the property was not transferred into our name.  The Property tax dept confirmed to us that she had not done the transfer of ownership correctly.  Our property taxes were in arrears and we were penalized with interest.  Zaynah refused to do it the way they wanted, so I had to get it transferred myself, plus we had to pay the penalties.  Our mortgage company indicated she had neglected to send the paper work in on time and the closing didn't happen until about 5pm.  Our movers had arrived with our things and had no where to put them except the hallway of our new place.  You can't imaging that kind of stress.  We also discovered our hardwood floors were severely scratched.  Since the floor had rugs and furniture during showings, we didn't notice.  Instead of standing up for us, she allowed the other lawyer to bully her and walk all over us.  She said she would only help if we paid her full hourly rate for her EXTRA services. 
 She's clearly not a real estate lawyer - I strongly recommend finding a lawyer who knows real estate and the full process.  I wish we still had our other lawyer - She got us an abatement when we found holes in the wall once the art work came down. She did her job. Very disappointed. I should have gone the BBB.
