New management. Great variety of choices. Food is coming out of the kitchen often, very fresh.. handmade wontons in the soup. White meat for breaded chicken, definitely high wuality food. Very clean !!
Went before 11:30am. Food was dry and the sauces on the meat were incredibly sweet. The lady working was quite rude. I was getting my wallet out as she told me the total and told her I’d be paying with cash. She sighed and said okay. After 10 seconds of counting money she told me the total 2 more times. I said “yes I know the total, I’m getting you the right amount of change and yelling at me will not make it happen any faster”. She replied with “You’ve had a bad morning”. As I was walking away with my meal she said laughed and said “We’ll that’s a big lunch”. Also if you get a fountain drink be careful as the kids don’t actually fit the cups and spill.
Very sweet employees! Great tasting food and average portions for Chinese food! Also, “Mr. Train Guy” clearly had a vendetta against businesses considering his past reviews. Should be ignored.
Manchu Wok is best known for their Orange chicken, don't sleep on it. The chef offered to make me some fresh at closing because they were out, give this man a raise. That's customer service. It's a little bit like honey garlic but with an amazing orange zing, best of all the crunch is a sugary crisp glaze.
Not the best, but decent. I'm usually happy enough with the food. Only problem is that the food is inconsistent. Some days it's amazing and others it's quite bland.
Food is absolutely delicious, and the lady was so nice!
We ordered wonton soup and there was the order sitting outside on their counter. The Chinese lady spoke to the man who was in charge at the kitchen and grabbed that wonton soup inside after, few minutes my order was done. I suspect that they took it and reheated then gave to me as the noodles were a bit soggy and the vegetables were a bit over cooked. The worst Chinese restaurant we have been! Don’t go here! Save yourself from wasting your money. The wonton soup is not even tasty!
The short Chinese woman will screw up and then blame you for it. I clearly asked for honey lemon chicken and she started scooping honey garlic chicken. When I asked her why she was doing that, she started yelling at me saying that I said honey garlic. I'll admit, sometimes I make a mistake but this time I was 10000000% certain I know what I said. Either way, all she had to do was say sorry and correct it, not say "you're wrong, you're gonna eat this now" Yeah right, I waited til she scooped everything on the plate and walked away without paying or taking the food. Maybe that'll teach you next time to have manners. This is Canada, not China.
I love the honey garlic chicken :
Rice had no flavor the fried chicken was hard all of their sauces were stupidly sweet and the soy sauce turned into a gross phlegmmy mess at the bottom of the rice, if your in midtown mall just go to bourbon st grill if you're looking for chinese
