Mama Said Hand Pies

What a gem! These pies were fantastic. Everything was freshly prepared and hot! Service was quick and friendly. Potato and cheddar was a favorite. I really enjoyed the blueberry pie as well. I will certainly be back! One of the best stops in Ithaca.

Some of the best food in Ithaca in my opinion, and that’s saying something! I cannot believe how crispy and flaky the crust is, and the savory fillings are AMAZING. They change up the flavors and always have something new to try, which is another reason I can’t stop going back. Good veg and vegan options.

Low-key some of the best food downtown. Every single time I eat here to-go... the complexity of flavors, the consistent quality, and the range options... This is a one-of-a-kind place and they have honed their craft. Can't wait to see what's next in store for them.

Great owners and amazing hand made pies. We ordered 2 sausage rolls and 2 irish mutton the night before to ensure they had them and collected just after noon today. They were freshly baked and oh so full of amazing flavors, awesome pastry and fillings. Please support this amazing little start up bakery.

The best!!! My 7-year-old extremely picky eater said this is "the best food in the world" and she's right! The crusts are crispy, the fillings flavorful and satisfying, and their soup is out of this world. Mama Said Hand Pies + Soup = Heaven!!!

Always delicious and fresh! My only complaint is that if you get there when they open not everything is ready and cooked- they are still baking for like 15+ min. But 8f you have time to wait it's wonderful.
