Best Korean bakery! Mugwort Mochi and Soboro Chestnut Cube are my favorite! They said the Moka Mochi Bun got discontinued though which also used to be my favorite

Maison Mori’s cakes, bread, and baked goodies never disappoint. This year, I was so sad to find out that they discontinued their grape cake. When I put in a special request for my daughter’s birthday though, the owners were kind enough to fill the order to make the birthday celebration extra special. As expected, the cake was nothing short of perfection -- the bread was not too sweet and pleasantly moist, the cream was lightweight and fresh, and the grapes were huge and delicious. Maison Mori’s service and quality of bread consistently deserve a five-star rating. This bakery has become my go-to and I will be returning again and again.

I had the red bean butter, sweet potato goguma bread, cream milk bun, mugwort mochi bun, walnut mocha bread. My advise is go early as they may run out of a specific type of bread. My least favourite was the mugwort mochi bun. My favourite one was the red bean butter and the walnut mocha bread. I find the bread here more unique. It's something you would only find in Korea from the ingredients. I also like that their breads and fillings aren't too sweet. The lady who helped out front was also very helpful when choosing the buns. Tip: try the red bean butter bread and the walnut mocha bread. Remember to choose 6 so that there's no tax!

I had this for my birthday! Very very fluffy with the correct amount of strawberries and the whipped cream is divine!

Edit I am adding the 5th star as they seem like they have upped their game in baking. They seem to use high quality and healthy ingredients and I haven't found similar product any where else. Other bakeries I've been to just don't have the kind of bread and quality this place has. I highly recommend trying their chestnut bread, mocha mochi bread and their loaves. I hope this place keeps up their quality and stay in business for a long time. Previous review was 4 stars this place was hard to find, tucked away in the corner of a plaza adjacent to hannam market. We went around 1pm on Thursday and already they were out of a lot of their stuff. I’m not sure if it’s because of Covid, but they didn’t have any cakes/roll cakes. I wanted to try their mochi but they were out as well. We got a soboro chestnut bread, chocolate bread ganache was divine! and a chestnut bun. costed me little over $11. They ALL exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to go back and try others. It would be a good idea to call and order in advance. There’s another bakery in the same plaza and if I were to compare them, Mr. Paris bakery is good, but taste factory-made and maison mori taste more gourmet.

Just had their roll cakes…yummm!! The cakes were so soft and light with inside cream tasty but not too sweet.

This hidden gem of a bakery is serving up beautiful and delicious bread featuring my favourite flavours - chestnut and sweet potato! The Sweet Potato Cube is soft and fluffy with a caramelized crust. The interior is studded with SO MUCH SWEET POTATO! Don’t sleep on this place! My top picks are: Soboro Chestnut Cube, Chestnut White Bean Bun, and Honey Toast.

Their most popular mocha mochi bun now got discontinued. Not sure why but they should keep the best selling one instead.

This place is hard to find, If you are new to that area. Google pointed wrong spot. Pass to Hannam supermarket All the way down and you might see the sign. I bought strawberry whole cake. When I check cake after got home, cake was like this… Obviously I was very careful to bring it. I was so sad. it’s maybe because of hot weather. Cake box. You cant see the inside. So you have no idea what’s happening inside. Also I got some breads. Was bit disappointed how small cube breads are. Its same as Costco muffin size. Taste was ok.
