Story

Ouvert depuis 1995, La Magia est rapidement devenue un incontournable sur la Rive-Sud de Montréal.
Située sur la plus belle rue du Vieux-Longueuil, La Magia vous propose une cuisine italienne actualisée. On y retrouve des entrées réjouissantes: tapas, antipasti, gratin de fromage de chèvre, fondue de parmesan, salade de roquette et prosciutto, etc.
Les pâtes et pizzas habituelles font partie du menu, mais on découvre également de surprenantes créations aux ingrédients contrastants: pâtes aux raisins rouges, prosciutto, basilic et pernod, pizza aux truffes et roquette, aux chorizo et figues, etc.

Heat wave day! We were tired, hot and just couldn't find a spot. We randomly decided on this restaurant. The staff was super nice and patient it was hot for them too! We ordered pizza and it was delicious! Great balance between the ingredients, toppings property distributed, flavourful! The dough/crust was perfect, you can smell how fresh it is, slightly crunchy with a soft interior. Exactly what we needed! The inside is very nice, comfortable, rustic, clean and really homey.
Pizza was good, drinks were good, beet entree was great. But the service... left me not satisfied. Why the effort of speaking French if you are going to misunderstand every time? I have a French gf and she has no issues nor her family nor at work but at a restaurant in Vieux Longueuil 2 people don't ? It seems more like an attitude problem.
We had our Christmas party there. The food was very very very good the pasta Alfredo sauce was delicious. The atmosphere of the place was cool. It was like an old logish cabin. Only problem is right now in old longueuil. There's no parking but they have a parking in back of the restaurant that was full ...that's only at this time of the year I will be going back definitely!
Went for dinner with friends. The place is nice and looks good. The service was ok. It took almost 20 minutes to get us the menus after we sat down, and even after they noticed, it took like another 10 minutes to get them. We shared a calamri plate for starter and a pasta and the sea food pizza as main. The calamri was average and felt rubbery, the sauce that came with it was nice.nThe pasta was basic and had a bland taste, only a bit sweet, maybe because of the wine added. The sea food pizza was average, and I couldn't decide if I liked it or not.nThe place has potential, but something needs to be done to serve better food.
