The service here was amazing. I felt so welcomed and everyone was attentive. The food, portions and prices were ideal. My meal was huge and tasty. The hot chocolate is a must! Sweet and creamy I loved the Christmas decorations. It felt so warm and even the customers were friendly and up for a chat
This place is a real treasure to find, you can't even find anything to complain about even if you looked for it. If anything for the price you pay for the food, you have enough for 2 on 1 plate you can't beat in, the fella that served us was on roller skates he didn't stop & could blow balloons up at the same time
The food is rushed out and just feels quite low quality in terms of ingredients and how it's cooked. Strange oil taste. Not great value unless you get the "all you can eat" breakfast. The coffee refills are a nice touch, shame it isn't coffee at all, more a kind of bland milk drink. Service is generally good but there is one guy who I've seen there on multiple occasions who is incredibly rude. At first I thought it may be one of those things where it becomes lovable but no, he is just rude to customers. One good thing about this place is that it's warm and has comfy seating.
What can I say but wow! How can this place have been open this long with a manager who has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. I'm absolutely appalled! I placed an order on Just Eats with a few simple requests as to how we like our food cooked. When I called the restaurant, a man answered and said I can't hear you and just hung up the phone." How rude, I thought. I called back, and he answered again, and I went on to explain again why I was calling. He just passed the phone on to someone else. She said they could not prepare the food the way I liked it, so I asked her to cancel the order, which I heard her do. I was told I also needed to cancel on Just Eats. I went in the website to do so, but it stated that they had assigned a driver, so I couldn't cancel the order. So I called the restaurant again and oh wow, this man told me that there was nothing he could do, the food was going out, it was down to Just Eats, I had already paid for my order and if he sent out an empty container there was nothing I could do about it. I asked to speak to the manager, and he said he was and then just hung up the phone. There was no excuse for that level off rude! That was and will be my one and only experience with Maggie's. Rest assured, Maggie's I will get my money back!
Came here as it was close to where we were staying in Surrey quays, and really wanted a good fry up was not disappointed. 20 item breakfast for 9.95, many items to choose from ball the usual bacon, eggs sausage etc, but all items such as bubble and squeak, tea and coffee etc Staff were super friendly as were the customers Very highly recommended
I'm here now, just finished a very large create your own breakfast. The customer service, manners, consideration and speed of service are TOP NOTCH here. The food was very good, love the hot chocolate and I'll definitely be back again. Thank you for a lovely experience
Best breakfast in South East London. Great value and very tasty
Lots on the menu, everything simple and straightforward without the London trend for overcomplicating ingredients. Nicely cooked and really friendly service with the option of al fresco dining by a bustling roadside.
I have used Maggie's multiple times over 30 years, and it was always a great place. No hairs or grace's about it, just Maggie standing there with a pot of tea. It was a sad day when she passed a but. Life goes on, and I think the standard has slipped in the food department and needs to be looked at.Food: 3/5
I am disabled and use a wheelchair so if I were to use your cafe then I would be forced to sit outside in the weather and the pollution from the many vehicles driving past. I don't think this is acceptable nor lawful. You don't want me to use your cafe as I world certainly find it unacceptable for your location to ostracized and mis-treat your disabled customers so poorly. A wheelchair user is expected to sit outside in the rain, hail and snow while your other walking customers are able to sit inside in the warm and safety, safe away from the noise, weather and pollution. Ones food on most English/cold days would find their food getting cold rather quickly so I suggest that you make some wheelchair access please. I never loose in legal situations and you certainly don't want me to take legal action against your cafe. Sadly it would have been lovely to frequent or have the chance to frequent your establishment but that seems to be an impossibility. Wheelchair accessibility: Seemingly from prema-facia inspection their is no access into the cafe, I would hope that I am wrong but I don't think that I am, sadly. Clear breaches of many Laws and Acts of Parliament
