Story

Madison’s New York Grill & Bar Restaurant (“Madison’s”) is a concept that goes beyond your traditional steakhouse or bar & grill Restaurant. Inspired by that great metropolis, New York City, and fuelled by a passion of food and detail to service and design, we offer an experience unsurpassed in the industry.

Described as a steakhouse (we prefer the term “grill and bar”), we offer top quality cut meats and baby back ribs, a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pastas and chicken dishes. Regardless of the guest’s preference, the Madison’s menu has something unique to offer everyone. Our wine list offers guests a variety of quality wines to accompany their meal while our dessert menu includes a selection of popular desserts revised from time to time to meet seasonal guest expectations

At first, I was not impressed, as my 21 year old son arrived first for our party of 5 reservation, and was crammed into a 4 person table in a corner. I'm assuming this was due to his age. Once the rest of our party arrived, we asked to be moved - there was no way to sit the 5 of us at the table! After that, our service at a larger table in the bar area was outstanding, and the food and drinks were all superb! Our waiter (Patrick, maybe?) was so attentive, even though is was quite busy - Saturday night!

We booked a resorvation that was not found. Possibly our fault, not sure if it was booked at the right location. We were a group of 8 and they were packed tight. The owner made arrangements for us and seated us. They were excellent in handling the situation and the food and service was spectacular. A repeat for sure.

Very cozy and classy place to have a dinner. Good ambiance for a good conversation. The food is great. We really liked the clam chowder. Can recommend New York steak with baked potato. Half price wine bottles on Mondays is the killer. Will come again.

We usually go here for drinks, never had any problems. I recently went with a group of friends for dinner, we all ordered the Steak Frites. The plates came without fries, we were told the Steak Frites didn't come with fries and that we would have to order a side of fries if we wanted some. The steaks were served cold and the gradation was off, I personally ordered medium rare but was served well-done. I could have asked that it be returned but at that point we had already waited for some time (and I was starving). When the bill came we were charged for drinks that were never ordered (it was corrected, but still). After the meal my friends and I provided feedback on their website, it's been over a week and we've yet to be acknowledged. Prior to this we've always had a positive experience at this location. It's unfortunate.

Server was horrible. Food came cold and steak cooked wrong, which I don't undestand seeing as it is a steak house. Overall experience was not memorable and wouldn't recommend.
