MADINA SUPERMARKET AND HALAL MEAT

I waited here upto 10.20 am missing a bus for oppening their store on 15th Jan, 2023; but they were closed! They are supposed to be opened by 10.00 am as per their notice. Terrific!

Good otions for Pakistani and Indian spices and food. I really liked the pre-seasoned halal chicken cuts. Great options.

Good collection of different products and items. Fresh vegetables, halal meats and so many grocery items. Didn’t compare the price but seems good.

Excellent quality meat that is perfect for curry. Also love their collection of kababs and tandoori chicken. Most importantly it's the staff who are very cooperative and helpful and always take time to explain things despite busy times.

By far the best beef/meat among South Asian grocery stores in Winnipeg. Price is competitive, but quality matters the most. This store is kept clean and tidy comparing to other similar category of stores. I will come here as long as they keep the customer service piece consistent.

I really like the meat I purchase from here - chicken and mutton. What I don't like is their customer service and how almost every time they put more meat in the weighing machine than I asked for. Many a times it's more than 10-15% of what I asked for. The person at the billing counter most of the time is unfriendly. Many a time, I had to wait at the billing counter for someone to arrive. The detailing on the bill is absent: how much I bought was missing from the bill. The owner seems really nice, though. I wish they could be little more friendly.

They have amazing pre marinated meat for barbeque!!! The men working in the meat department are highly professional and helpful!!! They help with all questions and they have a lot of knowledge regarding meat!!!! Great Pakistani tasting barbeque meat!!!

Go-to place for Halal meat. Call ahead for big orders. While the grocery section is open till 8, meat closes at 7 because they put in an hour to clean the area. We made the mistake of coming in at 7:15 but they still obliged us. We felt so bad to derail them by a half hour.. good people.

Giving 1 star so google would allow me to write a review but to be honest this store deserves none. Just walked out of the place with my brother without buying anything. We walked in to get some meat; as we were waiting in line to get served, the butcher tells the 2 men behind us to come forward so he could serve them. They came way after us and were waiting behind us, but I guess we were black and they were brown so he tried to send a messagewell received. I will make sure to spread the word. Funny thing is that this store was referred to us by a very good Pakistani friend. Edit: Thank you for the politically correct answer. Nobody took our spot, your butcher locked eyes with us and intentionally called the people behind us on the side and then asked them how he could assist them. They had not placed a previous order and were even surprised by the guy’s gesture. As we proceeded to leave he didn’t even react.
