Last night we had a fabulous meal at Chez Mademoiselle. The food was superb, the wine delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer, explaining everything to us in English! Definitely one of our favourite spots in Paris! We started the meal with the scallop carpaccio with pomegranate no picture as it was eaten before I could think about it! We followed the tip of one of the other reviewer here and got the tuna main and the beef main, both were mouth watering accompanied by some of the creamiest mash potatoes I’ve ever had! The meal finished with mouth watering dessert, the lemon and speculoos tart, and the berry cheesecake! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Paris!
Chez Mademoiselle was recommended to us by a friend, and it did not disappoint! We made a reservation and they had our table waiting when we arrived. We ordered the chickpea salad to start. For main courses we had the duck and steak with mashed potatoes. Everything was very good!! This was the exact type of place we were looking for!
Friendly service and a great dish earned this place a 5 star review from me. I had the duck breast in a ginger honey sauce with mashed sweet potatoes and arugula. And it was amazing, especially at the price of 19 euros. Dish as a whole was composed. I wanted to lick the plate. My wife got the scallops with risotto. Scallops were cooked perfect but she thought the risotto was a little lacking for her taste. Would definitely return.
Managed to nab a table outdoors in a lovely warm October evening. Food was delicious and a particular highlight was the grilled octopus starter. Steak and sea bream were also very good and cooked to perfection. I'll come again next time in Paris.
Steaks excellent but the chickpea salad even better. The piece that stole the show was the tub of cream with the dessert. First class. Thanks also for the amazing service!
Came on a Sunday night with my wife on vacation. Arrived 45 min earlier before they opened at 7:00pm. Super nice staff who let people wait outside and sit. Food was amazing, and price was reasonable. Atmosphere was nicely lit with fair amount of tables. They have a wine cellar down below which still use a manpower pully system to store their tasty winery. Waiters were very nice and promptly. It is located in a street away from the crowded/touristy area so it is a lot more quiet if you prefer low key dining experience. Menu is super simple with few options if you prefer not to be overwhelmed with choices. We had their fried octopus starter which was tender and full of rich flavor. Veal which was surprisingly a big piece of meat! It was to drool for. Then there is the duo raw fish sea bream and salmon which was a great combo to go for if you like marinated raw fish. Finally dessert we got the French cheese cake and apple crumble. Both were just right in terms of sweetness. We were shocked how good the cheese cake turned out. Not typical icey cheese cake, but soft almost like whipped cream texture. Delicious! Sat for 2.5 hours and never rushed by the waiters since it their culture to let people take their time to enjoy the food/social. Much appreciate their service and kindness! We would totally recommend this lovely restaurant to others who love to enjoy a quieter atmosphere in Paris with great quality French food and service! Merci! We saved this on our map and will come back again the next time we visit Paris!
The chef is super professional, welcoming. All good made with fresh ingredients. I would definitely come back next time and recommend anyone who stay near this restaurant to reserve a table. Every starter we ordered has unique taste. Word can’t simply describe how I like this restaurant. If you are visiting Paris from North America, try this restaurant. You will find out there is no real French cuisine in North America with similar price.
Our new Favourite! The use of flavors and the combination of ingredients was surprising and very well balanced - all prepared with passion and cooked to perfection - it‘s a bit off the lively streets what makes a plus as well - have great food and relax from a lively day in Paris
Found this small local gem simply searching for restaurants near my hotel. The ambiance was great, waiters were very friendly/helpful and spoke great English. Food was absolutely amazing. 10/10 will return to again when I visit Paris again. We had the Scallop carpaccio with pomegranate. Very fresh and perfect with the sweetness from the pomegranate. Filet beef with black pepper sauce with the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. Ahi tuna with the same mashed potatoes. All simple ingredients turned excellent.
Delicious food! I had my favorite dessert of my life here! The cheesecake with raspberry sauce and mascarpone. MUST HAVE! The staff are super friendly
