MacQueen's Bike Shop & Island Tours

Danny went out of his way to help us last minute on our trip! He gave us great bikes and helmets to rent and recommended a beautiful trail towards Tea Hill for us to take! This shop is amazing with lots of inventory! Highly recommend for people wanting to rent/buy bikes and see the trails around Charlottetown and surrounding areas. Thanks again Danny!!!

I think MacQueens have some really nice looking bikes and they look worth the price so be it the two stars but I had only dealt with them twice, once to get my new bike I bought from a different store 700 dollars to be tuned as I was having some slight shifting problems, it was a 9 speed bike, I left it with them and after picking it up and later riding it, I noticed no difference at all so wasn't too impressed, it only cost me around 20 bucks so I fixed it myself with a YouTube video, my second experience was calling them to ask about buying an ebike , the guy asked me how serious I was about buying an ebike "what", he said how much did I want to spend and I said 2000 to 3000, he informed me they had some rear hub bikes maybe coming in the near future if I want to check them out and sounded less enthused to talk to me any further. I asked him what he considered serious and found out that serious riders want mid-drives and they start around 3800. This was about several months ago and I wasn't impressed. Maybe I caught them at a bad time as their reviews and reputation are pretty good. .......UPDATE as os MacQueens response to my review. So now I'm unstable because I wrote the review on Christmas day and because I've wrote reviews on a few fast food places I'm even more unstable, MacQueens did only charge me about 20 dollars to alighn my chain witth the gears and now I'm lying,. ignorance is bliss, I was actually going to give MacQueens another chance for buying an ebike NOT NOW, that's 3 strikes for ignorance, your out "0 stars".

Went in to have a minor fix to my bike. Showed up and was out in under 10 minutes with a very reasonable price. Was asked by every employee if I needed anything. This is why I love to support local.

Rented bikes for a day excursion in Charlottetown. Staff were super nice and helpful to make a great day for us. Kona bikes were in good condition and rental included use of paniers.

On a touring trip cross Canada, i stoped by MacQuenn's Bike shop and Hamad took really good care of me and spent a lot of time finding the proper pieces to help me with my struggles. Thank you for everything, my climbs are way easier now!

Amazing bike shop. Has so much inventory in every category. Great rental selection that comes with helmet, bike bag, pump, tube, multi-tool and lock! Very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely rent from them again and/or do one of the self guided tours.

Fantastic shop. We were visiting from out of town and had shifting problems with one of our bikes. They took us right away as an emergency case and fixed the problem in no time at all. Many thanks!

Such nice people who came through in a pinch with some great bikes for us to take around the island. They went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we needed, and gave us some of that wonderful east coast hospitality!

Dropped in without notice on vacation and got new cables, hydraulic brakes and handlebar risers. Bike was ready in 3 hours. Exceptional service!

Super helpful with rentals. Relaxed vibe. Great spot. Will continue to rent here when I visit. Wish there was an espresso machine beside the giant basil plant.
