We came here for a birthday dinner and so glad we picked this place. The cocktails were fantastic. Highly recommend Dragon’s breath!! It is served warm and is delicious. We loved all the food we ordered - crispy chicken tacos, tofu volcano and roasted sweet potato bites. Tofu volcano was my favorite. The ambience was great and the service didn’t disappoint. Overall, a great meal and experience and look forward to coming back again.
This establishment was AMAZING!!!!! The staff from our host to the bartender to the wait staff and the servers were wonderful. I celebrated my birthday here on Saturday and was treated so great by the staff. The drinks were perfectly engineered everything was delicious with a good kick, my favorite was the black rose. The food was a top tier experience 1 of the best burger and fries in Chicago. I will be back soon like possibly this weekend. Thank you for the excellent experience.
This place is absolutely beautiful very lovely extravagant details. The cocktails are amazing and it gives you a unique and charming experience. The wait staff were very intensive and kind. The personal florist added a unique touch. Definitely worth giving a try. I had a wonderful time dinning here.Food: 5/5
Loved it! From the moment we walked in the door it was a great experience! Such a gorgeous space, a lovely waitress, amazing food, and unique cocktails. I went with a friend for brunch for her Birthday. Both the Machine Omelet and the Glazed Pork & Potato Hash were delicious. We also shared the Ginger Pear Tart and they even added a candle for her Birthday! It was absolutely amazing, such a light and refreshing dessert. Cocktails were so unique and plenty of options to choose from. We had been eyeing the flower cart, but unfortunately they were booked with reservations. If you want to make a bouquet make sure to note it in your reservation!
My wife made reservations for us to dine because she had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. We went on a Sunday evening and had a great dining experience. The atmosphere and ambiance is very nice. I ordered the Duck gnocchi and my wife ordered the cheese burger with fries. For cocktails, I had the Beautiful Little Fool ND my wife had the Firebird. The beautiful fool was so delicious and was topped off with an edible candied hibiscus flower. The drinks were a little pricey for me for the amount of fluid you received. Each drink may have had 2 oz of liquid for $14-$15 a piece. The Duck gnocchi was so, so good! It was the best gnocchi I've ever had. My wife really enjoyed the cheeseburger as well. The service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Great date night spot!
The food is flavorful, I ate up my entire meal and typically when I order French toast, I’m unable to eat the strawberries because of blandness but this was different. The strawberries were delicious! Every single thing on my plate had a delicious taste. The chicken tacos were also very great. I got two mocktail and I preferred the flower drink to the bird one, the bird one was a bit tangy. The only reason I’m giving them a 4/5 is because the service was a bit slow. Our waiter was very okay, it just took a long time for them to come to our table and to take our orders. I love that they also gave my friend a card for her birthday instead of the regular dessert, that was sweet!! Highly recommend the food
I so wish I could give this place 10 stars. The service is a amazing the food was delicious and atmosphere was so much worth every penny. Let me start with the Host Ben he was so nice I let him know it was my first time there and he gave me the perfect table in “The Forest “ I was surrounded my this beautiful tree that was so great for my photos. I sat down and the flower cart came by which was amazing I like Pink but I don’t know anything about flowers the young lady helped me pick a beautiful arrangement that she brought back to me and attached to my table I couldn’t take my eyes off them. Then I met my sever Kat who is amazing you have to sit in Kay’s section when you go. I tried the Breakfast at Tiffany’s drink it was everything she described and more. I love how attentive Kat was to not only me but all the guest in her section she worked the room. Last but not least the food how many times do you get food that looks exactly like the photos. I mean please don’t take my word look at the photos I attached then try for your self the Food is perfect so flavorful and cooked to perfection. I was one of the last guest to leave and I was not rushed Ben and Kat came over to chat with me a little bit more and I felt like the luckiest person in the word. As a person who had lost hope in customer service my faith was restored in my very first visit to Machine Engineered and I will be back..
I actually saw this place on a friends page and decided to check them out and I was a pleasant surprise. I went there during happy hour which means half price drinks. So on average their drinks are $40-$60 but they serve 4 people per drink soooooo happy hour we paid $30. The drinks were pretty good. Service was really good our server knew the new u well and was very prompt and attentive to our party. Food was also pretty good as well. The biggest thing there is the vibe in my opinion. Very nice place to impress your date and take some nice photos.
By far the most amazing dining experience I’ve had in the city ! It was so beyond that not only did we have brunch but we stayed for dinner ! This is an absolute must if you are looking for the better spot that crosses every expectation off your list when dinning ! The attention to detail in every way blew us away!!! Genius creative ambiance, impeccable service multiple management came to see that we were having a great time and being taken care of and the most delish unique dishes and drinks I’ve ever had…. We spent the entire day there we couldn’t help ourselves ! I can’t recommend one dish over the other because you can’t go wrong ! Thank you for having us and can not wait to have this experience again !…. More pics to follow!
A big fan of this place. We went yesterday, Saturday night. It was 97 degrees outside that day and the inside didn’t give much relief. Not sure if they are having issues with their AC? It was definitely warm in there. But aside from that, every single thing tasted amazing. Our server was a joy! I had the black heart cocktail. It was priced at $50. At first I thought it was overpriced, but I did end up pouring out five drinks from it! My date, thought it was too sour, but I loved it! We had a mushroom pate’ as an appetizer. It was so delicious. More of a pate’ flavor then a overpowering mushroom taste. It was truly a creative, and beautifully prepared dish. Last course was a salmon dish! Again, perfection. It had a slight crisp exterior and paired with some delicious creams/ sauces. I’ve already made plans to go back with a friend. Can’t wait to try more! The aesthetic was cute too.
