Great little spot just off the highway. Campsites were clean and the park warden came by a few times to make sure things were good. Easy little walk to the calls and lots of wildlife / birds to see. There is a freight train track nearby but it didn't dampen my experience.
Went for a drive with the family today to check out the falls. What a beautiful part of our province. Would highly recommend stopping and enjoying this. No hike ng necessary.
Amazing sites near the river, some highway noise as truckers slow down for highway 22 across the valley. Close proximity to a train track, used heavily. I'd come here again in a heartbeat, for those westerly sites near the river. Awesome proximity to tons of tourist activities in the pass, all within a 30-40 minute drive.
Nice and quiet place to relax. Best place to camp is by the river with lots of shade. Upper parking lot feels pretty much like that, a parking lot. But still an OK spot if you can grab one by the river.
Nice small provincially run campsite within walking distance to lundbreck Falls. Get a site on the river for beautiful views.
Charming little roadside treasure that I’d assume many people just drive by. The pull off area by the falls is a perfect place to stretch your legs after driving. The camp ground is just down river and is imo the best in Alberta. The tent sites are steps from the creek and the grounds are well kept and shady. A good place to fly fish as well. The campsite attendant was kind and answered all my questions. Will definitely stop here again.
Great little campground with a short hike to the falls viewing area.
We stayed up top and down below with a 40' 5th wheel. Most sites down by the river are smaller, so walk down first to see what's available. Up top spots are back in sites off a loop and are visible from the entrance.
Overall a nice place to camp with the Crowsnest River running through it. The falls are gorgeous.
The campground map is not accurate. And when you arrive at the grounds there is not a sign to say which sites are down which road. When you go right towards the hill sites you finally find a map. When you go left to the sites near the river the sites are not marked with posts. You may find the site marked with tape on the electrical box but they are not accurate according to the map. Talking with park service by phone is not helpful at all. There is also no phone service at the campground.
