Nice small falls. Good swimming in the river. Lots of trees, it’s a beautiful place.
Beautiful area. Clean lovely campground. The road getting up to the campground is a washboard mess
Beautiful area! With all the trees and bush the campsites are nice and secluded with a picnic table and fire pit. The falls are absolutely stunning. Cliff jumping is fun but water is freezing. Falls are in walking distance from all sites. Only con is no firewood for purchase on site.
The road is rough and only dry camping but great for a weekend or day getaway
Nice day use area. 2.5 - 2.75 hrs from Calgary but it was worth it! The road after hwy 774 is a gravel dirt road but it was in pretty good shape. I didn't mind all the dusts afterward. There are picnic tables available for use. Outhouse is descent, with tissue and hand sanitizer. No cell coverage made it more special, our teens and kids did not check their phones and opted to hike around. A few meters walk from parking and you'll see the stream of water and Castle falls. The view of the falls is really nice. I didn't swim or soak in the water but there were people cliff jumping like crazy, really fun atmosphere. its like a small haven for campers and those who just want to cool off. I tried fishing but wasn't able to catch any, but still ok. The waters are clear. I'll definitely be back for sure! Bring your family, kids, and pets too!
Love this campground. Very clean and great service in terms of maintainance. With no cell phone service it's a great place to disconnect and enjoy nature. The river is great for swimming if your into cold water. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone
New campground, private spaces, quiet and has a beautiful waterfall that you can jump into and swim in.
Beautiful location to visit. People need to clean their garbage and be less rude but that isn't the sites fault. The washrooms need some real TLC though.
Some of the best views I've ever seen while camping. The river is stunning
Many very nice spots to chill along this gentle watercourse. Forget the stupid city, the dumb job and the electronics. Just get out & be.

Just an FYI my Dad took the photo of our dog Teddy. He is okay with the photo being used, but he would appreciate it if you gave credit and didn't apply an unrelated watermark. If you would like to give him credit please check his nature photography website Escapewithme.ca
