Luna Loca

Went here for lunch with a colleague, a fellow Realtor. We both had a break in the day and wanted to try a new place. Ordered ceviche appetizer, carnitas tacos which now come with a side of fries. I love shrimp ceviche so I felt I wanted a bigger portion of this. The chips and salsa are always a great appetizer while waiting for food. The tacos are large portions and I love all kinds of fries so really happy that's part of all their dishes on their new menu! We sat outside on a nice sunny day. Next time will try sitting inside and maybe a drink!

My family and I stopped in for brunch to continue celebrating my triplet boys 5 year old birthday. The atmosphere, the service, the food, the entire experience was lovely. Sarah, our server, was excellent with a great personality and timeliness at our table. We started with chips and a salsa trio, ordered the churro French toast, huevos rancheros used a chipotle crema instead of the regular chorizo hash, and finished with fried ice cream. All of it was absolutely delicious! Blew my expectations out of the water! Way to go Luna Loca!

What a great space! The food was amazing, great flavor, everything complimented each other, not 1 ingredient over powered another. Try their signature margaritas, don't be afraid of the jalapeño or Serrano, nicely spiced! Try the salsa flight! Save room for dessert!! The Mexican Ice Cream w made in house chocolate chili sauce!!!

Spent a FANTASTIC evening with friends at Luna Loca. Everyone LOVED the food and drinks. Our server Quinn was great. See pictures of the delicious food. Highly recommended!!

I was so excited to try this place. It was pretty disappointing. I ordered the shrimp bowl and the shrimp were very mushy, the rice had no taste, it was supposed to be cilantro lime. The dish description mentioned corn and radishes, those were missing from my plate.. The only saving grace was the margarita.

It is a very trendy place with play very young vibe. I had the ceviche and I did the queso Blanco I’ve never had room temperature Queso Blanco before It was the most unusual experience The sangria was missing a wow factor unfortunately The ceviche was additionally missing a wow factor And the house wines have very pretty bottles I had the Sauvignon Blanc it was without a wow factor A solid place to eat, and a unique vibe. Tomorrow I fly to California, LA and after tonight I will be going to guisados To Re-imagine Cali fresh style

1st time at Luna Loca and overall it was good. Unfortunately good isn't all that exciting so let me explain. The restaurant itself is very nice, well lit with plenty of comfortable seating. We were greeted quickly with smiling service and we're offered seat of choice as it wasn't overly busy. Our server was wonderful!! We appreciated the welcome, her energy, her helpfulness and full service and catering to our needs. Chips and Salsa were standard and fresh. The drinks, Luna Lime, fell short with little punch of any flavor. The appetizer, Southwest egg rolls were fantastic!!! Definitely a must. Dinner... Carnitas burrito and Chicken Luna bowl were ok to good but again lacked flavor. I think the struggle is that the food is good but I've had much better Mexican at many different places. We definitely want to try again though and see how they develop going forward.

Amazing lunch! Took everything the prior longstanding tenant did and made it better I every aspect.

Awesome staff and food was good. My Carnitas bowl was delicious. Server was super nice. But the temperature outside was 10 degrees. The Inside temp had to be maybe 50 degrees. There was no heat whatsoever inside this building. In return, our food was cold within minutes. My wife didn’t want to drink her margarita since it would make her hands even colder. I have never been so cold in a restaurant before. Wish I brought my jacket inside instead of leaving it in the car. Would try again, but definitely in late Spring or early Summer.

What an amazing finish for the Syracuse Arts & Craft Festival. We stopped for late lunch. It was very busy. The waitress/waiter were both 5+ star. The food was amazing. The owner stopped by our table to check on us. I can't wait to go back with more of my friends. The decor awesome. It is truly sad when reviews are so harsh....Be kind or say nothing and don't return. Running a small business is always very hard work. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
