Luna Food Lover

My first impression of Luna Food Lover was that the place smelled amazing. I tried a pasta, crab cakes, and purchased chips and beverages from here. I love the variety of options, which makes it hard to choose. My one concern is that the menu is not accurate for the pasta options and was very confusing for me to order the second time. It really shouldn't be called a pasta bar if it only has three pasta types. Other than that, I found the staff to be friendly and the food great. This is a great location for a quick lunch and for buying pre-made sandwiches and salads. Luna is a rising food spot downtown.

Wow...just wow. How have I not been here yet!? They've been open for just 4 weeks. Super clean and GREAT food. Prices are really good for the quality. The owner introduced himself to me when I walked in with a friendly smile and a sample of the chicken veggie dish they make. I was sold. the first bite. it typically comes with rice but I'm not doing rice and the person at the counter was more than happy to substitute a salad for the rice. I don't usually gush over restaurants but this place is really good. They get everything right. Food is delicious and high quality, staff/owners are genuinely friendly and happy to see you, prices are good, and clean,clean,clean. Will be coming back!

I got the Caprese with Doordash and it was my first time eating the sandwich as a whole! It was pretty good but not stellar or anything like that. I sort of wish the cheese was more melted? The first time I tried Doordashing from here, it took much longer to find a Dasher than expected so I had to cancel but that doesn’t really affect my opinion on this restaurant, I’m guessing it’s because parking downtown is hell

A great find. We needed "before show" dining and there were wait times everywhere. I had two kids with me and when I asked to flex the meal choice the manager was excited to customize with no additional fees. It was more casual than what I was looking for but the kids LOVED it. I wish they could sell a beer or split of wine.Dine in: Yes

Super friendly owner/operator!!! First time here, saw it, recommended by some other colleagues, so thought my colleague and I would try. A lot of choices on the menu and reasonable prices. Place was very clean and the owner was very accommodating-he wanted to make sure we were comfortable eating in the restaurant. We both had salads which were a couple of several choices. Salads were fresh and very good EXCEPT, we both had grilled chicken in the salad and both tasted spoiled. I am hoping this was a one time thing because it recently opened. I will give it another try as I want to see this place succeed. I also had some hot soup which was very good!

Huge variety of good food for a reasonable price and friendly, helpful staff. Healthy sides, salads grab and go, also grab and go cold sandwiches that they will grill for you, and a hot buffet pay per lb. I bought lunch today for $3.44 from the hot buffet!!! I can hardly buy a bag of chips downtown for that and was able to get a lunch portion 3 course meal of teriyaki, fried rice and green beans. They are located next door to Original Grain, across from the Chase building. We needed this downtown. Thank you for moving in Luna Food Lover!

Pretty good food but honestly I felt the hype was a little too much. The parking situation is absolutely horrible, but that’s more of a warning and not their fault. Service was pretty good, but I just didn’t get wowed.

The food is fantastic and you can’t beat their prices. I am so grateful this business came to Syracuse, NY. Highly recommend. Located next to Original Grain which is more than two times the price for half the quality of the food.
