Lucy Tacos

This is a great place to eat, the food is wonderful. Most of all the people are courteous and friendly. The girls are also very helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone. IT'S GREAT!!

We were driving on roads we have never been on from Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Lake Wallowa, Oregon and my son was starving. We had passed several opportunities to stop for food but the restaurants were not exactly on our "google mapped route" so we kept going confident we would find something soon. My son did a search and announced there was nothing available for the next 70+ miles! We were just about to have a mutiny onboard when my wife spotted Lucy Tacos. Lucy is adjacent to a park with restrooms, a picnic table, huge shade tree and a gorgeous view of the Snake River. We ordered our food which Lucy prepared while wearing plastic gloves. Her two small daughters had fun serving us at our picnic table. They made numerous trips for various items always smiling and laughing which added enjoyment to the experience. It was a wonderful moment with great food, the kids and the beautiful surroundings. I paid Lucy and gave her a tip. Eating had restored my son's good nature so he called the two little girls over and gave them each a 2 or 3 dollar tip. They thought that was pretty Kool.. As we were ready to leave a young boy rode up on a bicycle and announced he was hungry. Since he had no money we bought him lunch. He's in the photo. A fortuitous five star memory. I will always thank Lucy Tacos for saving my bacon!
