First time in for years and we were so pleasantly surprised! Great food, selections, alcohol, trained and motivated staff, and lots of Christmas cheer. Wondering, with Java closing is there a chance we will see coffee/drinks in the future?
Great spot to pick up lunch - awesome sandwiches, soups and salads made right and fresh every time! Beer and wine selections round it all out. Their new outdoor dining area has a fun vibe - looking forward to trying it out this summer. Heard they have live music now and then. Awesome job and so glad to have Lucy’s in the Grand Haven downtown community.
Came here for the first time today with my fiancé and family. We came in around 11:00-11:15 and ordered for 5 people. I Ordered the Reuben with smoked turkey and my fiancé ordered the veggie delight. Both were very delicious! Our food came out very quick which was also nice! About 10-15 minutes later, the place filled up and had quite the lineup at the front counter. I noticed that all food came out very quickly despite the sudden lunch rush! The staff was very friendly and delivered prompt service! This is a great place to come for a quick bite to eat! I can’t wait to come back and try more of their sandwiches as well as their breakfast! Would highly recommend!
This is a great deli with fresh meet and generous portions on the sandwich. All the kids loved the soup and sandwiches they got. They have a parking lot and there is parking on the street as well. Nice place to have a bite. We got the sandwiches super fast, I was amazed at how fast they got them done.
Huge sandwiches! My husband and I ended up splitting on grilled chicken sandwich. It was delicious with chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, sauce... on a light sourdough bread. Grilled of course. Quick service and decent price. We the ate and had a soda for around $9. There are shopping options for beer, wine, pastries, chips, non-alcoholic beverages. The menu had some nice flavor blends for sandwiches.
Not only was the service excellent but so was the food. Nears we’re delicious, bread was super soft, and their sauces and dressings were all tremendous. Only bad thing is that they aren’t close to where I live! Keep up the awesome work here!
Super large selection of different types of Sandwiches. We Love how they are made to order. We enjoyed eating our Wonderful Sandwiches in the Beautiful Backyard Garden Area behind the restaurant. Great staff, Food and inside or outside Dinning areas
The special of the day was a Spinach wrap with hummus, feta, tomato, onion, cucumber and lettuce. Frickin amazing is all I can say! So good!! Was my first time here and I will definitely be back toting friends!
Sandwichs are good, service is slow, Very little seating. I was there 10 yrs ago and was not impressed. It has improved considerably, but still not impressed!!Food: 3/5
My husband and I went here recently for the first time for lunch. They have a great variety of sandwiches and they also have good breakfast options. The sandwiches were absolutely amazing! They do sell beer and wine which is available in a cooler, like a store. As of right now, they do not have the license for a patron to purchase beer or wine and drink it while you eat lunch, but they should have that capability soon. They also make their own broccoli salads and things of that nature. In addition to that, they have meat available that you can have them slice for purchase. It's a really cute Deli! The service was great as was our experience. We will be going back and we definitely recommend it!
