Very well kept and maintained nature park. Ample paved parking that is clearly marked. Bronte Creek runs through the park providing beautiful scenery and lush forests. Also, large wide open spaces to play on the grass, set up volleyball or badminton, or play catch. Large well built picnic pads with many tables, and charcoal pits for used charcoal. But, as it is well known and very popular, it also gets very crowded! In the winter, they allow tobogganing and have the perfect landscape for it. They even add padding to the trees at the bottom of the hill to stop injuries. During prime season, you must book ahead to visit! Visit the website for full details
This is one of the best parks in town! It’s so beautiful. Handicap accessible through quite a bit of it. Washrooms Playground Picnic table Baseball diamond Hidden Geocaches A shallow creek and a beautiful bridge It’s a perfect place to spend time with the family
This place is an absolute gem! There's a great park big wide open grassy areas open to play in with a couple of picnic areas and bathrooms. Bronte Creek runs right through the park and there's lots of space along the river with picnic tables and entry to the water. I bring kids here several times a year and they love to play around in the river. There are a couple of awesome paths that lead around the park area, over the bridge across the river, and along the river into the nearby forest. Great place to visit for families, with space for sports, to set up a picnic lunch and lots of things for kids to do.
Amazing place for a family picnic or get together and most important of all its free. You though have to perform a reservation before visiting the place so that the automated gates can recognize your license plate.
Wonderfully park. Great view of bronte river. Very quite and amazing place for kids too
First if you are driving to this park from Oakville, Milton or Mississauga, try to drive on Britannia or Derry Road, oh my God, you will have a breath taking scenery on the way. This park requires reservations, so do that as you need that QR code to scan on the entry gate. By the way, the permit for three hours is free.,At the end of trip, do not forget to visit nearby sculptures park. Nice clean fresh air to spend few hours
Lovely park, not crowded at all even in weekends... BBQ is allowed ar this park.... very green area Restrooms: Available Picnic area: BBQ is allowed
This park is absolutely beautiful and is a great time for the whole family. A wonderful quiet space to connect with nature.
This is a beautiful park with very shallow stream flowing through it. Hence it's a super beautiful and cool park. There is a Play park for kids to keep them busy. Also there are small writeups on the different kinds of animals and fishes that you can see in this park. It is a very interesting read for kids and adults both. There are picnic tables and you can do BBQ. Also you need to book before you go. Every booking is only for 3 hrs.
A relaxing trail, fishing and kids playground. What more can you ask for. One of my favourite haunts.
