Lowe’s came through for me !!!nThey fought for me for my countertops to be rescheduled and were great with follow up.nStone central sent Alex, victor and Karen on the following Monday. They were absolutely wonderful. Stayed for hours until the job was done right. Love them.
Both Charbroil grills @$649.00 were delivered damaged. The first delivery, on June 27, never made it off the truck, it was so damaged. The replacement grill, on July 4 , did not have screws tightened and the handle fell off in the truck. The side pieces bent up when carried because they were not tightened either. Screws too short? The delivery guys, who are different from the assemblers, worked on it for at least a half hour reassembling it. A bunch of wires hang down next to the grease tray.. it doesn’t ignite. Next time will buy American.
I visited the Lowe's store in Ithaca, New York. It was a very good shopping experience. The parking lot was clean. Easy to park. The store was well stocked and maintained well and had a retractable screen door that I thought may have to be ordered in stock. Thank you for a good shopping experience

Lowes was very happy to sell me a refrigerator on a Wednesday. To be delivered on the following Friday between 8am and 8pm. Which means you have to be available all day. Friday morning I got a text giving me the 4hr window of 7am to 11am. They arrived about 7:45am. The delivery guys, 2 of them came in, looked at the old fridge and asked where the shut off was to the waterline. I showed them where it was in the basement, guy #1 shut off the water and we went back upstairs where guy#2 was taking out old fridge. I cleaned up the water/years of dust and my cutting board that I thought 1 of my kids had taken home. They brought in the new refrigerator and hooked up the water line and guy#1 went back downstairs and turned on the water. This is when I noticed that the right side door was a bit crooked and wasn't level with the other door. Plus when both were shut the right side was pushed in more than the left. I asked guy#1 if they could adjust it and he said no, you need a service call. Then he says tell them to level the refrigerator when they come. And they left. I called and got a service call scheduled 2nd day missed work service guys come, 3 this time. #1 guy had the tools and started working on the right door. Nothing is working, he asks me for the packet that came with the fridge. I get it for him. Then he looks at me and says there are no spacers in here! I'm like, don't you have any in your truck? Oh no, we don't have parts. You need to get spacers from lowes and call and schedule another service call. I just couldn't believe what they were telling me. I then point out that the right door is crooked and mushed in. Oh no #1 says, defective, they need to send you a replacement . He assures me as he's taking pictures and making notes in his phone that someone will call me today about talk to me about scheduling a date for a replacement to be delivered. Suprise no one called me, I gave them 4 days to do it before I called the service #.nI talked with a nice lady who after making her way through all the notes agrees that a replacement is what I need. Lets get a service call set up for you, 10/11 today 8am to 8pm... here we go again. 3rd full day I have to take off from work. My morning call 7am, from lowes says 2pm to 6pm. Then by 9am it is switched to 11am to 3pm. The arrived at noon. My daughter and I rushed to empty the fridge when we saw the truck, so excited we were. 1 guy comes in and pulls out the fridge and pushes it back Into place. I can't replace the refrigerator because there is no water shut off. Oh, its in the basement I say, let me show you. No he says, it has to be behind the refrigerator. So I say why did the other guys hook up this refrigerator then using the shut off in the basement? I don't know why they did what they did, but they weren't supposed to. You will need a plumber to come out and move you shut-off valve to behind the refrigerator. Then you can call for another service call. Each time I've tried to speak with the manager who originally sold me a fridge and he only refers me to the service #. The service number calls me about 1 hr after the guy leaves to set up another service call. I talk with her at length about my saga and she continues to tell me how sorry she is that I am going through all this. She finally says, just shut off the water and disconnect it from the refrigerator before they come. This should solve the problem. So I schedule the 4th service call... stay tuned for next Fridays service call. 10/25/24 #4 Service call, the 4th day I stayed home to wait... they tried to deliver a refrigerator that was the wrong color! I called the Syracuse number and they said because I refused the refrigerator I had to go through the Ithaca store. Many many minutes on hold I finally got a hold of the supervisor of appliances in Ithaca. 10/26/24 I got a call from service and they will bring out another refrigerator this Friday between 8am and 8pm.
