I go there only when I have to. Can rarely find help, items the website says are in stock are not, and it's expensive. Even Home Depot prices are a little lower. However, it's close to home and I can usually find what I am looking for faster than I can find employee help
We recently bought a new refrigerator from this Lowe's location and what started off as a seemingly good experience went downhill fast. The salesman in the store helped us order the fridge and scheduled our delivery date. On the day of delivery I was given a four hour window for delivery, which was quickly changed to an eight hour window. When the delivery people came they said they couldn't take my old refrigerator because there was still some water in it, and then they said they couldn't get our new fridge in because there wasn't enough clearance through the doorway. They ended up leaving it on our porch, by my request, otherwise they said they could've returned it and refunded our money - but we kind of needed to have a fridge. Needless to say, my husband and our friend got the new fridge in and we had someone come pick up the old one. The experience was a headache and very frustrating, especially when you're spending a decent amount of money on an item. Next time we'll avoid Lowe's and go with a local business instead.
First off my husband and I went to Lowe’s to order a screen door and was told one week for a Larson premium storm door. After a week we went into Lowe’s to inquire since we haven’t heard from them and was told it’s not going to be in until 3 weeks after we ordered it. We got lucky a door came in my step father picked it up for us as we were unable to pick it up. We are in the middle of the work being done on our house with a 10 month old at home. We looked at the door and it’s the wrong color. We were suppose to have a black door and this one came in as a woodland. So we go back to the store but were unable to get the door back to the store with us as is wouldn’t fit in our cars and was told they couldn’t do anything without the door. After arguing with the lady that the mistake wasn’t our problem she finally set up for them to pick up the wrong door. They ordered us the right door and come to find out they told us the wrong hinge swing after confirming with them three times that we had it opening the right way. Now we have to wait another two weeks for our new replacement door to get here. Lowe’s is not our go to spot and if they weren’t the only ones with this specific Larson door we would have ordered it from Erie Materials where we ordered the rest of stuff from. They are way more professional, reasonably priced and orders come in when we are told. Not to mention when we got to the service desk at Lowe’s they told us to go back to the mill working desk and when we told the lady at the SERVICE DESK we didn’t know where that was she goes yeah me either.
Lowe's Home Improvement is my go-to for all home projects. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what you need. The friendly and knowledgeable staff always go above and beyond to help with any questions or projects. Their expert advice and great customer service make every visit enjoyable! Highly recommend!
Awful experience. Bought a grill assembled and it was brought out from the bull pen. Got it home cleaned off and it had rust and scratches all over it under the dust. Went straight back and returned it. Paid $800 for it to look like complete garbage of sun damage,sticker marks all over it and rust in the hinges all over. Customer Service was horrendous, staff would walk by us not even acknowledging us or helping us. The manager offered us $200 off or the display, which no ...we wanted a boxed napoleon grill because of the previous experience and problem. They couldn't even given us a boxedone on the shelf,refused. No, we will never shop here again!
