Great experience here! They took the time to demo speakers and amps to help me find what I was looking for. They weren't pushy with sales after I decided to just buy the speakers, and they let me test out some gear that was given to me, and repaired a turntable on the spot. I love the JBLs I ended up with! I'll be back for records and gear in the future :
Excellent service, solid and patient explanations during showing my son how to setup and use his new record player. We travelled from Victoria specifically to make our purchase here after reading many stellar reviews on multiple sites comment sections. I'm glad we made the trip and appreciate all of you who took the time to recommended this amazing little gem of a business. Thank you lotusland staff for a great experience helping us make a confident purchase upgrading my sons record player! Respectfully Lyle & Gabriel
Awesome place! Seeing all the vintage hardware was definitely a blast from the past. You can try all the equipment before you buy it also and definitely need to check out what game consoles they have.
Love this place. Staff so helpful, really feel comfortable there being relatively new at the hifi and vinyl game. Got my amp and speakers there, and 3 years later they give me a deal on cleaning my amp because i bought it there. Great stuff.
Have been coming here for years!! I have purchased various turntables, speakers, amplifier & lots of vinyl from these guys Mitch & Trent always provide great customer service, A+ knowledge of everything they sell and completely stand behind their product. Highly recommended...
Great inventory and service. If vintage audio equipment is your thing, and even if it's not, you owe yourself a visit.
Has a lot of stereos and turn tables etc. Staff very knowledgeable. Small shop repressing some pretty good, high end equipment.
I don't really know where to start or what to say exactly. I was recommended to come here by the guys who work at Beat Street Records and I am super glad I followed through with it, because the service I received at Lotus was exactly what I would assume most people want; knowledgeable, experienced and passionate staff that won't just try to sell you something, they truly want you to get the product you want and need. They will personally let you test the amps, speakers and turntables before you buy, even letting you compare the sounds back and forth. I came in to upgrade my current beginner setup, and I really couldn't be happier. Go there, hear the differences between the products yourself and save yourself from buying stuff online. Cheers guys!
Pretty sure Trent finds all his “gear” at thrift stores and the likes. Bunch of subpar receivers, low end speakers, and over priced records. Also I find his way of dealing with potential customers quite off putting, and lacklustre. There is a reason his FB sellers rating is a 1.5 star from 30+ reviews I’m a vintage stereo collector and would never step foot in there again. Better to buy from real enthusiasts who know a thing or two about their gear.
Amazing store. The owner is not only extremely knowledgeable but also extremely helpful. I went in knowing nothing about audio equipment and he helped me pick out a fantastic set up that fit my budget. If you’re looking to buy any sort of audio equipment, skip the Amazon reviews and check out Lotusland. They have much higher quality stuff and at affordable price points! What’s not to love!
