Since 1970, Banyen Books & Sound has grown to become an abundant oasis – one of the most comprehensive selections in North America focusing on Spiritual Traditions, Healing Arts, and Earth Wisdom. Our store offers over 26,000 titles: books, music, DVDs, audio teachings, and oracles. We also have a wide spectrum of gifts, meditation and yoga supplies, colouring books, musical instruments, crystals, statues, incenses and smudges, and much, much more. First time to go here and I didn't have enough time to look around. I wanted to check out the books but it just didn't feel right at that time if that makes sense? But yeah, I definitely want to back and take a look around some more. I got some crystals at a decent price.
It's a magical and amazing place to calm and wind down. The books are a fantastic read and pretty reasonable price. I'm surprised that bookstores still exist and am happy they still do. Will visit soon once again very soon.
This place is a gem, they have a wide variety of books and they have a area with crystals, jewelry candles and many more unique items. I love coming here and looking around service is great always. And pre covid they always had free events to attend. Love the vibe here
One of my favorite places. Prices are fair, selection is fantastic. The staff are always helpful and kind. Be prepared to wait in the line-up during the weekend however it's worth it.

I LOVED this book store. It had such a calm peaceful vibe, it reminds me of a bookstore you’d see in a movie. Super cute. They also sell crystals and safe smudge sticks and so much more, I can’t wait to go back.
I ordered a rare book from this fine store and the book was damaged. I was initially disappointed by their customer service response, it was slow coming and felt dismissive. Ultimately, though, they followed up of their own accord and well after I'd forgotten the offense and made good. I respect and appreciate that.
Amazing atmosphere, great selection of self help, growth, and spiritual development. The staff is very kind and always willing to help. Lots of variety in choosing the best items to help cultivate and boost sacred energy in your home.
This store is gorgeous! A huge selection of books and just about everything else you want from an esoteric shop. Well worth a visit.
