Comfortingly delectable food and heartwarming service! You can taste the love put into the food. My mom is from Taiwan and the dishes all got her seal of approval and of course, MY seal of approval as well, haha! The noodle soup broth did not cut any corners—it was delightfully nuanced in flavors, and warmed my soul. The noodles were truly exceptional—I am very picky with noodle thickness and texture; these hand-pulled noodles were clearly fresh, not too chewy and just right! They peeled the tea eggs for us, and paired with their homemade chili oil was just divine! The waitress spoke Mandarin, Cantonese, and English eloquently and she was so kind and attentive. Please please give this restaurant a try!
Loved the decor+the table covers. Had the chicken and the spicy pork noodle soup +pork&chives fried dumplings. Loved the fact that yummy tea is served! Very nice hand made dumplings + noodles. The service was really good and the decor pleasant. The food is simple but good! I would recommend 100%
We ate here because the other place had a long line. The noodles were okay. Not the style I particularly like. Just okay. My wife didn't like the noodles as much either. My in-laws enjoyed the noodles, though. They liked it so much, they came back two days later. They accept American Express which is a plus.Food: 4/5
delicious. my mom is from Taiwan and she loved it very much. she was so happy to see some dishes you dont often have in the cities that taste just like her hometown. i loved the mild taste of the soups and how they stay true to traditional flavor. we loved all the dishes and the waiters were so friendly!highlight of my night :
Guys, maybe you know this place already. but wow I just discovered this gem in chinatown. Their handmade noodles are incredibly delicious!! Freshly made, their broth is very tasty, their meat was tender, and …they have quite of baby buckchoy which I loved it! Their dumplings were quite amazing , tasty and juicy. I know in Chinatown Montreal, they have quite great restaurants but this one is a must try!
Located near the entrance of Chinatown, this restaurant has savoury dishes with a very nostalgic & homey feel to it. The soup noodles were tasty and the broth felt very organic with not too many overpowering ingredients, which makes it reminiscent of one's grandmother making a feel-good meal to warm you up on a cold day.
such a hidden gem. The noodle soup is super delicious. Hand made noodles were just perfection. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Even the owner came out for a chat. All in all, a wonderful dining experience.Food: 5/5
This place is okay. Menu is wide but the prices are higher than neighboring places featuring similar food. I’ve tried the lamb noodle soup, it was okay, hand pulled noodle lacked the chew and broth was kind of bland. Also, the dish was “contaminated” with glass noodles even though it shouldn’t have contained any. However, the Zhajiang noodle soya bean paste and pork was really tasty. The portions were big. Service could be improved.
My family is from Henan province and I thought the food was excellent and authentic! We got lamb noodle soup and the braised porc noodle soups where you got to choose the width of your noodle. Broth was very flavorful with meaty flavour and the meat itself was well seasoned and very tender. Porc dumplings were delicious as well! The restaurant itself was spacious our server was great.
ATTENTION Convention Centre Goers: A 2 minute walk from the convention centre, Burger King/Tim Hortons doors into China Town will reward you with a spectacularly good lunch in a spotlessly clean family run restaurant. We had the following meal with tea for the same price as 2 burger kings combos. The flavours were spectacular. The service was great and importantly fast needing to get back to our conference. So don’t waste time standing in line at Tim Hortons and treat yourself to some great Chinese food.
