The food here is bursting with flavour! Literally the one sentence that comes to my mind every time I think of Chez Chili! We ordered the beef sizzling plate with green pepper and onion and the eggplant dish with peppers and minced pork - both were mouthwatering! The staff were friendly and attentive. It's a nice little gem in Montreal's Chinatown to visit for sure!
Really enjoyed the fried rice and the beans, nice and salty. My friends liked the sweet n sour pork too and the portion was big. The fish tasted very bland but everything else was fine.
Really delicious authentic Chinese restaurant with extremely friendly service. The food arrived quickly and everything tasted really nice. I recommend getting the braised pork belly as it was very tender!
Fried fish was excellent and portion was big. It came with two fish and various other things potato, shrimp, fishball, wood ear mushroom, spam, etc.. Would not recommend the chicken dish as it was over fried. Stir fry cauliflower was great!
We had fried rice, eggplant, green beans, stir fried beef and pork. The pork and the eggplant are on the sweet side, it’s definitely not the traditional flavor you would find in China. The beef is decent, but again, the flavor is not the same as the one you get in. In general, the taste is more designed towards western Chinese food. Good price.
this was delicious... we came late on a friday, just flew in from france and my colleague is vegetarian, so we tried to find something for the both of us. I ended up having more of his tofu than my beef. It was so great!!
absolutely loved all the flavorful dishes we got here! definitely recommend trying them out. the staff is very polite and the service was fast. probably one of the better schezuan places we’ve ever been to. the portions are very generous and the prices are reasonable.
Simple, but quite good with an unbeatable price-tag. 13$ for general tao chicken with rice and veggies + 3$ for the veggie rolls. Nothing fancy, but you will be satisfied.
OMG. The best authentic Hunan style Chinese restaurant in Montreal. Highly recommend you try either D28 or D27 stir fried pork in casserole. The spicy green pepper is the best of the best!
Authentic Chinese restaurant and my favorite one in an area close to the old Montreal. In my recent trip to the town, I ate 3 times there in 3 days. Highly recommended!
