Fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming in the lake are only a few things you can do during the day. On Saturday they have a wonderful craft fair. Lots of diversity. Paintings and note cards by Neil Pinkett. Beautiful cutting boards. Metal silhouette cutouts of cowboys, bears, foxes etc. Hand painted wine glasses. Jewelry, knitted items and many more interesting things.
Stopped for the craft fair,which had some nice truly local stuff.Happens every Saturday in the summer.About the actual resort I can NOT comment. Restrooms: Port a potty Dog-friendliness: On lease
We loved it here! Super friendly staff and amazing amenities! Horseshoes was a nice touch and so many options for fishing boat rentals and gear! My husband and I rented a boat for a day and caught a few decent trout. 3lbs the largest, John gave us a few personal flies to try out and worked like a charm. Such an amazing resort and experience and well priced, can’t wait to come again! :

Most sites are right on the lake giving you 24/7 breathtaking views! The grounds are clean, quiet and peaceful. The pump out service is a huge perk for those wanting to stay a while and not worry about their RV tanks. The owners and employees were all so very kind and helpful and a pleasure to speak too. We loved our stay and will be visiting again forsure! Thanks Loon Bay!
Ihave been fishing on ,off sheridian since latey0,s the fisheries have ruined this lake there is not another food for the amount they stock the gerard's are all gone the fish are long and not looking like footballs it time to fish a throphy lake with 15,s pounderand last time I was there no wood for cabin 3 days 3 nights the people where to busy going on fishing trips not good
Absolutely spectacular, beautiful lake setting. Warm, clean, quiet cabins with lake views. We've been there in the summer and winter and both were great. In winter there is a large area cleared to skate and play hockey, they have pucks, goals, and sticks to use. And we ice fished by walking a bit from the cabin. They have an auger for you to use too. We'll be back again and again!!!
We had a lovely stay here over the July long weekend 2018 - The facility was clean and pretty quiet for the amount of people that were there. The office staff were friendly and welcoming. The tent sites are tree'd in but you can still see your neighbors. The sites are equip with firepit and picnic table. Close walk to the boat moorage. Very nice, peaceful place to stay.
We enjoyed three nights at this place with our children. I want to highlight the very kind owners that make you feel welcome. Personally I enjoyed the breakfast and playing a game of badminton with my kids. The place is clean and well maintained. Be prepared to toilettes outside of the hut - okay but if you don’t like the idea try to rent a room in the main house. We were lucky enough to attend a local rodeo event. Otherwise rent a boat nearby or get to know the locals in the near bye supermarket.
I really enjoyed my first time staying at Loon Bay Resort, on Sheridan Lake! The bathrooms were kept very clean and the outhouse always had lots of toilet paper! Gorgeous spot, nice size lot and amazing light show two nights running! I know the light show is not the norm but coming from the lower mainland, I really enjoyed them! Very sad about all the forest fires and smoke though!
