Nice lake and area however the treatment from the owners was not that great and they were deceptive in their charges. We stayed during August 2017 for a family reunion 26 people rented 6 cabins and 2 motel units along with RV spaces. We Were told those renting cabins had access to the canoes. Upon my return I noticed extra charges on my visa when I called to inquire about the charges they advised it was for canoe rentals and proceeded to advise that anyone in cabins have the use of them for a price! First off, I only used 1 canoe once and they charged me for 3 additional canoe rentals. Their response was you were with a group of people who took out canoes that day and you were the only person we knew which cabin you were in therefore we charged your account and if I want my money back I could collect from them, end of discussion! Even when I told them who the other participants were to charge thet refusedto adjust my account, needless to say I contacted my relatives to ensure they were not erronously charged in the same manner. Not impressed!
