Story

We are a family operated fishing resort, located at one of the nicest lakes in the Cariboo: Bridge Lake. You fish for Kokanee, Rainbow Trout and Lake Trout.
You can rent a motor boat or canoe or pedal boat. We have 38 RV/trailer sites with power and water. There is a sani dump and we have a mobile sewer service.

We camped here for 3 nights. The price was very reasonable, the view was amazing, the owners were delightful, and the bathrooms/showers were the best we've come across in the camping world. Be aware, the sites are a bit small, and the beach is tiny. There is also no internet service, but the owner said they are working to fix that. Our only real complaint was that we couldn't pitch a tent close to our site for kiddos and that wasn't made clear beforehand. They were willing to let us pitch but in a field away from the adults and we weren't comfortable doing that. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to know beforehand. Our other family members were also camped in the upper loop. It was very close to the highway and noisy at night. Overall a lovely place and from the sounds of it, it will only get better and better.
We had a fishing Derby hosted at the resort Sept 24th . What an awesome resort well run by the awesome owners. I truly recommend booking a stay at this great resort.Service: 5/5
We have been coming to Cottonwood bay resort on and off since 2007. We love the lake and all the islands to explore. Great for swimming. We were not fans of the previous owners. The large rustic cabin we rent has been improved greatly since our first visit. But what really made our latest trip amazing, was the new owners. In the 5 times we have stayed there we had never felt so welcomed as we did this time. They are awesome! We see all the extras they are adding already. I can't wait to go back next year and see all they have done. Unlike the previous owners, these folks are hard workers and we saw them upgrading the place from early morning to late night everyday we were there! They were also available at all times if you needed something unlike the old days were you had to go chase down the owners who seemed to always be unavailable. If you were here before and disappointed by the way things were run, try again because it is a complete 180 now. You will feel so welcomed regardless of your nationality! There was a bit of smoke from nearby fires during our stay which really didn't effect our trip all that much. The owners gave us a great deal on renting a boat as we left ours at home due to some highway closures. My wife always travels with her huge crock pot so we prepare dinner in the morning before going out and we come home to a hot dinner. She always makes too much so we brought the new owners a couple of bowls of her mulligatawny soup. The next thing we know is they bring us a fabulous bottle of wine! These folks are pros in hospitality. It was super quiet and peaceful. We had a great vacation thanks mostly to the new owners and the cool older hippie neighbor we met! Thanks again to Marlyn, Mark and Matthew!
Great place, cabin was nice, clean and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and take care of the place. Pet friendly we had our Dane with us. We will definitely come back again and would suggest this place to friends and family.
Great cabin right on the lake! The electric heat is very nice in May, as it snowed our first two nights.
Beautiful place with easily accessible boat launch and dock. Friendly owners.
Nice campground with very gentle owners. Prices are very fair. Don't miss taking a boat trip.
Had a good time, beautiful lake, quiet and relaxing. Friendly host, and guests.
Cabins very comfortable, hosts very accommodating.
