I have visited this place for pre-birthday celebration and I am glad I chose this place. Our server was very nice and I am thankful to her for making my day good. The outside sitting at this place is nicely decorated and that slow music makes the experience unforgettable. I am a vegetarian and ordered fajitas, our server made sure we are getting no meat. For fajitas, it’s worth the price for flavour and quality. I have order fries as well and loved them. Definitely returning soon.
They are pushing some "new" items so I ordered the Big Rig Burrito. Well Burritos, in my opinion, should be unfinishable. Nope. this one was moderate at best. But the thing is, and I think I am correct here, the fillings are supposed to be rolled on top of each other. Not beside each other. I ended up with a "neopolitan ice cream" style burrito. Beef then Rice then Refried Beans. Not a very nice experience at all. For the price. It should be twice the size, oh and made correctly. The server was quite pleasent "JD cuz that is what his mamma put in his bottle" he described himself as. Anyway a fairly big fail. The flavours were good. for both meals, just wrong for one. And portions vs. cost are way off. Update: Managment reached out to discuss the issues and although the item is no longer available its preperation was corrected. I will review again if/when I return.
The wings were phenomenal!! I changed it up and I had asked if I could mix two flavors. I mixed Jack Daniels and Hot Habanero. The wings were big in size with lots of meat. There is also a large patio with lots of shade. Great place for drinks and food! Service was fast and friendly as well.
I like the idea of this place, western cowboy Texas vibes. Food was good and plated nicely. Service was awkward.
Raw chicken in a kids meal is the reason we can not morally ever return. We’ve been many many times over the years, but have lost trust for the brand and the quality control. The manager was exceptional though I have to say. She handled it extremely professionally so kudos to her.
I love going here for lunch or suppers when I’m to lazy to cook. Foods always on point and the servers are always very nice. Had bubbles serve our table, who was very good at what she does, for only have been working here for a month. Would think she’s been here for a year at least. She gave us good drink suggestions and even told us the history of corona and how lone star is the one who got it in Canada. Usually comes the the fajitas but tried the burrito and I can gladly say it’s just as good along with the drinks she told us about.
1/2 dine in, 1/2 take out. Sheppard deserves kudos for all of his help and kind, calm problem solving skills. Take out steak fajitas were packaged very nicely. Thanks for offering to store golf clubs, for getting us drinks quickly and suggesting a social moment at the bar until the rest of our party arrived. Best time ever.
UPDATED Rating: This review is an update to a former comment. Our latest visits to this location are MUCH improved. Thank you Maverick for an entirely different experience! Job well done guys. Delish meal, no issues. Dolly, you are amazing as we’ve always come to expect. Kudos to the location for taking criticism and actually making necessary changes for the better. Went in last night with my two friends. Once we got seated we did not get any utensils, plates, or even water. WE HAD TO ASK FOR THIS TWO TIMES. Until they finally came and served us. Drinks were good but the deep fried pickles and nachos were not impressed with. Nachos chicken did not seem like it was cooked properly and the deep fried pickles were too soft and did not same cooked. Seemed raw. The customer service is horrible will not be returning. If returning will only be coming for the fuzzy peach drinks next Summer.
We really enjoy our visits to Lone Star. The staff at this location always seem kind and efficient. The fajitas are always hot including fresh-made tortilla. The complimentary tortilla chips are lovely made even better if you get some queso in my opinion. If you're looking for a good Margarita look no further! This was our first visit with our 5-year-old twins in tow. They easily found items they wanted and we all enjoyed our meals. Kid-friendliness: Our children found several items on the children's menu intriguing and were happy with each of their choices. The instant tortilla chips at the table also help to take the edge off for everyone upon arrival. The colouring passes the time. We'll visit with children again.
