Good nearby park for the dogs to stretch their legs off leash. Had wood chips instead of grass which isn't ideal.

Best dog park in the Cities. Large area. Folks allow dogs to be dogs but are quick to quell any trouble. Come play with us!

My worst experience in more than 20 years of dog parks. I should have listened to the warning from the woman who was leaving when I arrived.
There were 3 large intact males that were harnessing other dogs as well as people. "Mr Big" who thought he was in charge, had the attitude that' "that's what dogs do". No dopey, that's what dogs that have no manners, all their hormones and are under no one's control do. His opinion was that since it was a "public park" there were no rules dogs and people could act in any way they wanted and that the people that were being bothered should just leave. I have rarely encountered such ignorance.
My advice to whatever governmental body is in charge of that park is to post a very specific sign (in very simplistic terms) of the Rules for the dogs and the people who bring them. Before someone gets severely hurt and you have a suit on your hands.
My advice to anyone planning on a nice frolic at a dog park is to go somewhere else. Bully's and fools are in charge here.
