Story

We're a multifaceted food & wine concept that merges casual sophistication with an upbeat urban style. We feature a large BC wine & beer selection coupled with a menu that blends classic styles with seasonal Okanagan & Pacific Northwest inspired ingredients. The atmosphere is often described as an urban retreat with amazing views of the water and natural elements.

The food was fine......but let me tell you the service was second class just like how we were treated...my partner and I came in for a light dinner and some hot tea on a chilly night.....we ordered a burger with kale salad and another salad with a side of garlic mashed....i asked for the mashed and salad together....the hot water was barely warm for the tea and the server brought fries with the burger and my mashed first then I had to wait for the salad....another table beside us had 2 couples who ordered a bottle of wine and meals and you'd think they were the royal couples the way the server catered to them hand and foot....she was at their table non stop and only stopped once at ours....we asked for more hot water and more honey wich was forgotten completely.all the while the wine snobs next to us got first class service...on leaving my partner told the server he was appalled at her service and that we felt like because we didn't order wine we were treated like we didn't matter.....the server took the tea off our bill but we felt like not paying at all.....its the first time we've been there and had terrible service but we won't be going back and running the chances of having her again.....its to bad an apparent upscale restaurant like this can't find better service to cater to the pubic....another local disappointment

We stayed at the summer land resort and decided to go to the local restaurant. We had amazing service and the waitress, Mylene went over and beyond. The cook also made sure that the food was perfect. Great experience

Cozy atmosphere and a very nice view . I enjoyed lunch here . My Wife had the roasted vegetables salad and she throughly enjoyed it . I had the Nashville Chicken burger and it was interesting. It was unusual. It’s a lump of chicken in hot sauce covered with coleslaw in a bun . Tasty but very hard to eat , I ended up eating it with a knife and fork . If the chicken would have been flattened prior to cooking it would work way better . The fries are very very good , cooked in a light batter , crisp and tasty . I would eat here again but probably not have the lumpy chicken burger

The name was somewhat deceiving as we epected a more "farm to table" local food source approach but the food was very good none the less.Unfortunately the service was yet to be desired. Not very busy the night we went in but the server rarely came to check on our table of 4. It was quite obvious that our server knew other guests (local residents perhaps) as she paid special attention to those tables. We left disappointed in the experience that evening but will try again next time we come to Summerland.
