Local 438 Grille & Sport

I've never had a hostess/server be so rude so quickly. We hadn't even sat down and they were giving us a hard time about wanting to sit at a table near the bar and order drinks and apps. Recently moved to the area from another state and have a friend from out of state visiting. We decide to go here because we went once and, while very expensive, they were okay. They ask us for our ID (2 NY and 1 NJ) and we oblige. They then ask if we have backup ID'S... Yes... Backup ID's. We say no, because having ID from 2 states, I believe, is illegal. They then say something about us not being worth the time and risk for using out of state Id's and we just walked out and now I'm sitting at a competitor nearby drinking a lovely Old Fashioned. Seriously, stay away from this joke of a bar.

Great food and awesome service and good prices. The food also came out very fast and perfectly cooked. I would 100% tell all my friends to come and eat here.

Good beer selection and the food is pretty good. Great spot to hang out and catch a game! Typical sports bar but it's so close. Usually pretty busy
