Loblaws

This store is okay. Could be a lot better but not the worst and it happens to be close to where I live. There is almost always something not correctly priced in the system, you have to watch that very closely or you will be overcharged. Today I was disappointed because we came to pick up a treat for new year's. Before walking there (and it's really cold out), we looked up the posted hours that said it would close at 8pm. We arrived at 6:45 pm to find an employee locking the door. He apologized and said that they were aware that they were closing earlier than advertised and of course, there was nothing he could do about it but to recommend that we formally complain to the management. This seems very typical for this business. They advertise whatever but don't seem to make much effort to ensure that things are correct and then when you notice an error, the employees are free and easy with the apologies but the management obviously does not actually care. We try as much as possible to shop elsewhere even though it means going well out of our way to do so.

I wish it wasn't so expensive but they have what you need, even if it's a little outside the box. Certain things are cheaper here, and keep an eye out for their 50% off stickers...there's great deals to be had. Also, solid selection for cheese.

Good food quality. Me and my boyfriend choose Debby to cash us out because she's very friendly and polite!

Well maintained. Multiple cashiers available. Wide selection of goods. Wonderful cheese selection. Delicious looking aged beef display. This store steps it up and it's a pleasure whenever I visit.

Staff is nice, however I am now broke for a solid week because apparently they don’t take visa. Which is really annoying to find out after shopping for 40 minutes. I was not expecting a grocery store not to take one of the most regular types of credit. It’s 2017 fix that please. I’m living off ramen for a week and crying now.
