Great ambiance with some good tasty food. Nicely presented and good customer service. Food Had 1.Fish Nirvana with Appam Appam was really good with chef pillai’s fish nirvana. I really liked the gravy of the nirvana haven’t had the original chef pillai’s fish nirvana i would recommend everyone to have the appam. 2.Porotta & Beef It’s not a combo but the taste is spot on. Especially the beef is really good to have and the porotta is crispy and thin comparatively what you get from the other kerala restaurants in Mississauga area 3. Kallumakaya Fry Pan Fried Mussels To me the star dish of the evening . It’s not quite common to find mussels in a kerala restaurant because it can be quite expensive. But here the price is bit on the higher side but with the quality and quantity you get it’s worth trying if you’re a mussel fan. Yet to try other items in the menu. Hopefully pretty soon. And any i feel like we need a restaurant with good ambiance and seating to have a good time with your loved ones. NB: Not a paid review
Had been to this restaurant for dinner with friends. We ordered Beef Fry, Porotta, Chicken Curry, Mutton Biryani Kayikka Magic, Erachi Chor. It was very hard to differentiate between Beef and Mutton in their Biryani. Both the meat were huge chunks and felt rubbery. Erachi chor was just ordinary. The porotta and chicken curry were the only saving grace.
Great dining experience, freshest food I have seen being served. The service, food quality, restaurant cleanliness were all top notch. A great start for this restaurant. The staff is also very social and friendly. Will definitely come back often. Food was so good didn’t have time to take any good pictures.
Very clean and new place with a bar. Nice staffs. Tried their beef roast, cornish chicken fries, fried spinach, parata and roti, and payassam. Everything tastes so good. Will definitely come back and recommend friends and family.
It was my first time to try South Indian Food and let me tell you my experience was great Service was great Food was Amazing and they have very good Masala Tea must try place you won't regret.Food: 5/5
Oh, the wonderful culinary privilege that the GTA has! Kerala cuisine isn’t super well represented among south Asian restaurants in most American cities and this place shines. The tilapia molee and vegetable stews were definitely lighter than what I am accustomed to from Indian restaurants representing northern India but an absolute delight to savor! The curries are infused with coconut with hints of mango, chili, black pepper?, tamarind?, and cardamom, and go well with the crispy and fluffy contours of rice pancakes appam. While seafood is heavily represented on the menu many curries here are built around rice and fish, kerala cuisine— unlike other Indian cuisines— also boasts beef ! on the menu, with the restaurant known for its beef fry and roast.
Tried their Chicken Biriyani, Fish Nirvana, Crab Roast and Appam Quality Food. Amazing experience Kudos to the team Hope you continue the same standard and quality
Great Indian restaurant.. lots of Kerala specialties, loved the Shaapile curry .. Onasadya was excellent. Highly recommended
The ambiance was amazing. We ordered kappa and shappu fish curry, paratha and beef roast, appum and fish nirvana and finally duck roast and appum. We also ordered lemon soda. It was all so amazing especially duck roast, because it was not game at all. Shappu fish curry was incredible especially with the kappa. Curry was spicy and kappa was surprisingly light and fluffy. It's as if it was pounded like fufu. Paratha was flaky and light and was paired amazingly with the beef roast. Feedback would be, even though fish nirvana had mango in the recipe there wasn't any taste of it. I am aware the star ingredient is the fish and coconut cream but when stating that as part of the ingredients, it would have been better if you could taste it properly in the dish. Appum was good but me personally I love a good paal appum. This was overall a good experience.
Had a wonderful time with our team at this newly opened indian restaurant , a fine dine experience with a wide variety of Indian food.
