It's an affordable Persian restaurant. The prices here are relatively lower than other Persian restaurants. Their quality is still good. In general, it is recommended for take out if you have a large party. They can further improve their decoration and dine-in options there. However, they probably spend less on interior design to be able to serve food for cheaper. Anyway, they are hospitable. I liked their Gheymeh stew, but Kababs were average.
Dropped in for a weekend lunch with friends and family, I have to say this isn't a place for a date but the value for what you get is second to none. I ordered the sultani combo and it was absolutely delicious, it came with a choice of salad or soup and they serve it with a big piece of tahdig if you know, you know. Highly recommend, would go back again.
Food are good. Portion are good. Service are good. Just a little salty to personal preference. Owner very friendly
Trying something different and we came across this restaurant. Staffs / owner were friend and recommended us some of their specialities.
From Hamilton and wanted some grub before getting on the road. By far the best place I’ve ever tried out of impulse and proximity. Big Portions. Best Koobideh kebob I have ever had in my life. The lamb shank was seasoned and cooked to perfection. That lentil soup is pretty bomb as well. All the staff were super friendly and the chef gave some spicy sauce for us. Only thing i’m upset about is how far away from Hamilton BUT now I know it’s 1000% worth the drive.
Yesterday, I ordered the party package#1 for my Muslim family who came from Vancouver to attend a funeral because I needed a variety of great halal food, fast, and a lot of it. I went with this restaurant because they highly recommended this restaurant at my work place and because they offered party packages which is rare. It was ready on time, wrapped up real well, easy to pick up and load in the car, there was plenty of food for everyone, it was hot and ready to serve, and it was so fresh, delicious, tender, moist and soft. We were all impressed with the food and they all said it was delicious and I'm not exaggerating!!! It was a sad event but the food was superior trust me. I recommend this restaurant for all. Thank you so much for doing this for us with short notice, for not compromising on quality, and for making a hard day easier for us.
Used to be a great place. Good food at great price. Last time we were disappointed as they placed the take out containers in front of us on the table! Blaming it on covid... I guess it would be a good take out place going forward but for me. I think with the competition you can get better quality food with a little search these days i don't recommend this place anymore...
The best koobideh in the city! Juicy and full of flavour. I've been eating at Little House for over 20 years. I was disappointed when they moved form Yonge and DundasDowntown toronto to Richmond Hill as it's a bit of a hike for me these days, but I always find time to stop by when I'm in the area to indulge in their delicious kabobs. Parking: Free parking
All the Skewers and Kabobs are always properly seasoned and grilled/cooked that keeping the meat tender and juicy, full of flavours yet never overpowering. No wonder they receive the high rating from customers for so many years. Vegetarian options: Other than the barley and lentil soup and salad, there's no vegan option for the main dishes.
This place is a must visit. I have been going for almost 15 years from when they were near Yonge and Dundas. Great food, amazing service and value.
