Liquor Depot At Woodbine

Customer service is apparently not a thing here. Couldn't even get looked in the face by the employee, guess the paper work was more important than the one customer in the store.

Strong smell of BO hits you when you walk in. No customer service whatsoever... just hurry up, pay and leave so they can return to whatever they were doing.

Reading these comments are so satisfying! I wasn't apart of this location very long, but I was there long enough to see how much the customers loved the long term staff. For anyone who is wondering what happened. Angel tried to ask for help about safety concerns in the store and was met with a pink slip. Seriously guys spend your money elsewhere. You will get a better deal . Update..I just recieved a letter stating that I'm banned from any and every liquor depot for 2 years. Little FYI for anyone thinking about a job opportunity here. Don't do it. All I did was make a complaint to Sandie that I felt scared working alone, that I couldn't go to the bathroom without a dirty look from the manager. She informed me she would get a hold of HR and to hold tight, she was gonna get to the bottom of it. Even had Angel and I compile lists with dates. It was a distraction so she could get her ducks in a row to get rid of us.

This store is so full of corruption. I was an employee for over 5 years when staff raised genuine concerns to upper managementSandy in regards to treatment and staff safety we were all fired on our next shift, after she made clear to note names in hr and how close they are so are we are rendered helpless. The employees are not allowed breaks and are made to feel bad over using the washroom. We are urged to discriminate against the indigenous. Full time employees are marked as part time so they can avoid paying benefits. There is so much favoritism and mistreatment its sickening. Regardless of how unsafe we say we feel working alone at night the company wont budget for a second employee. So instead you're forced to work alone till midnight. Sadly the customers always showed more concern about that than management. They do not care about employee safety! For customers... the prices are garbage youd be better off buying from any other liquor store.

What is going on with this store? First Mel was gone. She always took such pride in her store. So knowledgeable about wines. It was a pleasure. Now Angel is gone, and her replacement is less than subpar. Rude, doesn't know anything about wine. Always sitting down. I feel like I'm a burden. I over looked the high prices because the customer service was above and beyond. I can no longer continue to shop here.

I’ve been coming to this location for the last three years. Despite being on the more expensive side I continued to come because I loved the staff, they were always helpful and friendly. I always made sure to come in when Mel or Angel were working.. came in a few days ago only to have a new employee named holly brag about angel being let go because of her. I tried to ignore it the best that I could and moved on with my day, but I found it disgraceful that she found it funny that someone as hard working as angel was let go. The new manager from what I can tell doesn’t do anything, I always see her on her phone scrolling on social media instead of paying attention to the customers. Extremely disappointed with this location and how they don’t value their long term staff or customers. I won’t be returning.

I was in the store 2 days ago. employees are sitting down, no one is willing to help, shelves aren't stocked, no one seems interested in helping. The store used to be so good the old staff was amazing. I can't come here anymore.

Had the worst experience at this store tonight....Tina was the lady working there....first she addressed my daughter in law inside the store in a very disrespectful way while she was waiting for my son to grab his wallet in the car. Rightfully my daughter in law is underage, so this lady refuse to sell to my son who is 19. I this sent my daughter who is newly 18 to go and get my drinks...well Tina refuse to sell to her. The kids phoned me and I went over there, again Tina refused to sell to me. I asked her to get the owner on the phone ...Tina explained her side of the story while referring to me as a nasty customer Sandy was very understanding and offered me a 10% discount. Tina went on to tell me this will be the last time she sells to me....Hello no! This will be the last time this store see me or my money!!!

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help when you need it.

Mixed opinions. Staff asked for my id when I wasn't even buying and I was with my father. I'm 18 so ot wasn't too big of an issue but the beer is cheap so...
