I haven't had a good solid beef burger and chicken burger in a long time! Both burgers were equally good. You'll need two hands to hold it, to chomp it down! The portion of meat you get in the burger was perfect. Nice and thick. Both burgers were juicy. Quality meat. The chicken burger was crispy! The portion of the fries were generous. Went here for lunch and was super full. Will have to try the sausages some time. They even give a stamp card. After your 10th item, the next one will be free! How cool is that!
Tried this place for the first time. It’s amazing! The royale with cheese meal is so filling. So many fries!! The bun is so super interesting in the way it cradles the ingredients. Might be a U cut like the old Subway way of doing things. Halfway through the dog, the bun did not fall apart like many would. For later, I have corn dogs to share with my husband. Old school - just amazingly done.
I was really looking forward to trying this place but I wasn't overly impressed. The fries were good but to have everything on an open tray not what I expected, no wrapper or box, laying open on the tray. Bacon wrapped popcorn corn dog had cheddar seasoning powder on top of it. Royal with cheese was ok, nothing special. Combo is $17, we were the only ones there and still had over a 15 minute wait.
All the food tasted very fresh! The poutine had a great flavor and the fries tasted hand cut. The hot dog had a great flavor and had a good snap when I bit into it. The bun was very fresh and fluffy. The condiments were very unique and fresh.Food: 5/5
This was our first visit and The Ukrainian was amazing! The mini perogies on top were so tasty! And, the portion of garlic fries in a combo was HUGE! We will definitely be back!
Ordered the vegan hot dog was absolutely phenomenal. The french fries were cooked in tallow oil and they were phenomenal. Kids special was a hot dog cut in half a small mountain of fries fresh cut style look out NYF and a juice box and mini ice cream. Everything tasted like it was cooked over the camp stove. "Dining room" could use a bit of a update. I will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Great kids meal
Menu leans to sausages and dogs and very good ones. There are burger options, some beer and pop choices, fries, garlic fries, poutine. The sausages and beef are top quality, great fries. Overall an excellent meal and we will definately be back.
I didn't expect this much guilty food here. Also service was pretty good as well. Even the portion was pretty big. Two thumbs up!Food: 5/5
We've driven past this restaurant numerous times and finally decided that tonight was the night to try it out. We stopped in around 5:45pm and it wasn't busy at all. I ordered the Royale with Cheese combo and chose the garlic fries for my side. My spouse had the Bacon Wrapped Popcorn Dog with the poutine for his side. The service was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our meals came out hot and it didn't take long at all. The portions are big! The garlic hand cut fries and poutine were so delicious! The gravy was flavorful and we both really enjoyed our sides. My spouses' corn dog was really good. Had great flavor with the maple syrup and bacon. The bacon wasn't wrapped all the way up the corn dog though, just half of it was wrapped. But still good and would order it again. The Royale with cheese was okay. The beef sausage was dry, there needed to be more sauce, I didn't taste or see the cheese at all, the tomatoes were cut too thick and they just fell off. If they're trying to recreate a BM, there's no tomatoes on it....? But the poppyseed bun was amazing! Super fresh, soft and tasted great. We both enjoyed our meals, and we'll go back, but I'll order something else off of the menu. There were a few different things I wanted to try and went with the Royale for the first time. Next time I'll try the Brat. :
Ok folks, this place is worth a stop. The food was absolutely amazing!! We got the Royale with Cheese, the Jansenville and the Basic Burger. Portion sizes are very generous, lots of fries! Gravy was fantastic! Burger was awesome one of the best in St. Albert for sure! The other two orders were the in store hotdogs/sausages. Very juicy and incredibly tasty!! It's a nice little spot, close to Servus Place and they also carry Foothill Creamery Ice Cream as well. We'll certainly be back again very soon!
