Ling Ling

Story

Ling Ling was established in the early 1990s. The restaurant was originally own by a family from Shanghai. When HuaYong Chen purchased LingLing in 2001, he removed most of the unpopular food dishes and created many of his own dishes.

Now the restaurant is family owned and operated by HuaYong Chen and his family. HuaYong Chen, the Master Chef at LingLing, has had over 30 years of experience cooking the finest Chinese cuisine.

Chicken and broccoli is good. Honest to goodness you really need to lay off all the batter you put on the sweet and sour chicken. Or add bigger pieces of chicken. Waste of money for it!

Unfortunately the service was not friendly and most of the food was terrible. The beef LOmein and spare ribs were good. The crab Rangoon had zero crab flavor. Nothing but a mouth full of cream cheese. Very disappointing.

I really liked this place on Friday nights, it served great chinese food. On a Sunday night on the other hand, it is horrible. If two different restaurants could exist at one spot, I would not be surprised. I know this is cheap chinese, but the inconsistency is flat out inconceivable (yes I have watched the princess bride in the last month). I would recommend somewhere else, and I would give this place one star, but I would feel bad.

In my eyes Ling Ling is the best Chinese food in the area. The staff is always friendly and the food is top notch
