Story

Bullfrog Brewery, founded in 1996, is an award-winning brewpub & restaurant located in the heart of downtown Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Bullfrog Brewery specializes in artfully crafting some of the finest ales, lagers, and specialty beers imaginable. Our noteworthy beers have won many prestigious awards, including Gold & Bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival and Gold & Silver medals at the World Beer Cup. We also proudly hold 7 of the top 25 slots for beers from Pennsylvania as ranked by beer aficianados on RateBeer.com, and are listed among RateBeer's Top 100 Brewers in the world. Our special bottle release days, held a few times each year, regularly draw hundreds from across the country, particularly for our renowned sours and wild ales.

We feature a continually rotating menu of delicious staple, seasonal, and specialty beers ... IPAs, stouts & browns, sours, wheats, reds, ciders, farmhouse ales, and more. Over the years we have brewed and served most every style of beer catalogued, and even a few that aren't. We have a penchant for showcasing Belgish (Belgian Style) ale that, in our opinion, offers the drinker the most exciting and adventurous taste experience the world of beer has to offer. On any given day, you’ll find as many as ten or more tasty beers “on the board,” as well as occasional special guest beers. We also offer specialty, barrel-aged bottled releases several times each year that are available for purchase on special release days. And, if you like what you've tasted while enjoying your time with us, all of our regular beers are available for take-out in a variety of custom Bullfrog Brewery growlers.

In 2013, we began full-on production brewing at our second facility here in Williamsport, and our beers are now available in kegs and sixtels to pubs & restaurants everywhere. You'll find Bullfrog beer on tap at discerning pubs in the greater Philadelphia area, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Maryland, and other areas.

Our dining menus offer a variety and quality of food beyond compare in the region, while using fresh, organic, locally grown or raised ingredients whenever possible. We care not only about the quality of your dining experience, but also the healthfulness of your meal. You’ll discover fine dining creations and mouth-watering daily lunch and dinner specials (along with daily soup specials). We also offer the best in sandwiches, jumbo wings, appetizers, and pub fare, and our specialty menus have been thoughtfully created to meet the needs of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diners.

When it comes to dining, the Bullfrog Brewery’s goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. We are the definition of “casual,” very family-friendly, and there’s never a need to hurry here. Our hosts, servers, and bartenders are laid-back, friendly, and ready to help make your experience at the Bullfrog Brewery a memorable one. You’ll especially enjoy our Sunday brunches, which not only feature unique, delicious specials, but also live music from noon until 4:00PM with the “Jazz Workshop.” World-class musicians in an “open jam” environment will thrill your ears while we treat your taste buds. Thursdays are "Wing Night," with big discounts on our rather famous jumbo wings with your choice of 18 delicious sauces or rubs. And then, there's our popular "Smokehouse Saturdays," held every other weekend, featuring wood-smoked meats, cheeses, and other delights!

Along with loving great beer and food, we are also dedicated supporters and fans of live music, and we regularly showcase the very best in national, regional, and local talent at the Bullfrog ... with live jazz every Wednesday evening, musical acts of every genre on Friday and Saturday nights, our immensely popular Sunday Jazz Brunch Workshop, and special musical treats on many Sunday, Monday, and Thursday evenings as well. Whether you’re a fan of rock, jazz, blues, jam, Celtic, bluegrass, Americana, alternative, electronic or just about any other style of music, you’ll find it here at the Bullfrog Brewery.

Upstairs from the pub & restaurant is Jeremiah's Banquet Hall & Listening Room, the perfect place to hold your private event, and where we also host special musical performances for a true "listening room" experience. Jeremiah's offers a full bar (and available bartenders), serving stations, tables, and seating customized for your event, and you may have us cater your event or bring in your own foods & goodies.
